I have complex medical conditions I would highly recommend this practice. I can always get an appointment with a doctor . Yes I agree that the phone lines are always busy at peak times but once answered the receptionist , are always polite and very understanding. If they are in any doubt with the patients concerns they will always seek guidance from their colleagues. I agree it can be difficult to get an appointment with a doctor if you don’t have complex conditions, but this is how a surgery should be run not filling doctors appointments with ailments that can be dealt suitably by a nurse practitioner or pharmacist freeing up much needed doctor appointments . Well done armada practice for providing me with outstanding care and keeping me alive so I can enjoy my family

Have been with this practice for 20 years, and it used to be good practice. Now, doctors are rude and incompetent. The problem is you can not choose the doctor. They are making an appointment with a random doctor. Was waiting for doctors to call back all day, keeping my phone with me, but once you went to the toilet and you missed their call, that's it. They won't try to call you again. It's so upsetting. It's outrageous how insignificant your health is to this practice. You really have to make a complaint to get a prescription from them.

My husband and I have always received very good care and attention (thank you Louise today!) from all the staff at Armada.
We've never had to wait long to be seen. Sometimes it's a phone call appointment but if we phone for a face to fact appointment, we always get one.
No problems with anyone there at all. Thank you for looking after us.

Friendly staff and the doctors are great. Never have a problem getting an appointment. I always use the NHS app and leave them a description of my problem within 24 hours. I have a response and appointment is sent by text message 10/10.

Although this is a good health centre it is VERY difficult to get an appointment.
When I do manage to get an appointment, the nurses or GP I deal with have always been friendly and helpful.
If I had an ongoing health condition I wouldn't like to use this surgery as I probably couldn't get regular appointments, but for someone who is okay health wise and isn't in need of many appointments, it's okay. But, it did take me over 5 weeks to get an appointment to see a nurse at an available time for me.
Problem with NHS, its understaffed and I can imagine all health centres are like this today.

Visited the practice 2 weeks ago, my appointment was 11.10, The doctor called me at 11.55. I was asked to visit the surgery for my liver. The Doctor was very rude arrogant, he said what do you want. I told him about text message from the practice, he said well if they checked they would see it was like this some time ago!!! I asked for antibiotics because I used mine from my rescue pack. We dont do these any more you have to see a doctor. I felt very uncomfortable and it has now stopped me from contacting the surgery. This doctor was not a nice person.

This practice is getting worse over the years. The phone system to book appointment and call back from doc is ridicolous. I work shifts and with their system speaking to a doc on the phone is almost like winning the lottery, if you try consistently over&over, you might eventually win. Some doctors and nurses are lovely, not so much phone receptionists. How could we make this practice better?
