Just want to say a huge thank you to Ardingly Court Surgery. I'm a professional fiddle player and had an accident cutting my finger. The surgery found an appointment for me very fast and the doctor took this very seriously and was extremely compassionate and sympathetic and wrote a letter to the hospital for me. The hospital saw me very quickly and gave me jab and wound care and advice. As a result of their care my wound healed fast enough so that I haven't had to cancel any work - which was my biggest worry.
Thank you all very much I'm extremely grateful to you all and couldn't have asked for better care and service

Horrible experience. Everytime I need to see a doctor spots aren't available, it's always fully booked for at least 4 weeks or the lines are busy, also it's now impossible to book an appointment unless you call at 8:30am when the phone won't even ring for the huge amount of people in need. You should be ashamed. What is the point of having a GP if I never get to see them? I am incredibly dissatisfied with EVERYTHING about this practise, if I could give 0, I would.

I have been registered with this practice for over 60 years. I have seen many characters come and go, both professional and administrative. Despite the swingeing cuts in funding and dicing-up of the NHS, this practice has endeavoured to maintain and improve services despite the extreme pressures. For the most part, they have achieved heroic status and deserve a lot of plaudits. It is certainly the best practice in the city. Well done to all concerned and thank you.

I have recently registered here, the reception staff are very friendly, & helpful.
The doctors have spent time to address my health, & been proactive in diagnosis, & tests.
Thank you

I've been with this surgery for years and I can't believe the way I've been treated.
They are so disorganised, maybe they are understaffed recently I don't know, but the treatment is insane.
About 7 months ago I moved and surgery staff members were made completely aware over the phone as well as messages, I was told it would not be an issue, over 7 months ago.

Today I called to ask about a prescription, for the person on the phone to say that I am not registered with them. They unregistered me without even notifying me, I can't believe it. Even after I was suddenly told a few days ago that I can't be registered with them cause of my address, (which has never been an issue and makes 0 sense) I was told I would have 30 days to find a new surgery. I now need antibiotics and have no surgery to go to.
Do yourself a favor and DON'T REGISTER with this surgery.
I can't believe it, deeply disappointed and upset.

I wouldn’t even bother with this doctors they are absolutely appalling. The reception staff members are rude, miserable & completely unhelpful. The way they speak to you is shocking. The doctors aren’t much better. I was refused a sick note, had phone consultations for HRT then they called me saying they had been advised it was to do with not sleeping. The communication is horrendous and there is no care at all. The doctors are rude & cold

Awful!
Had to wait 6 months to get my depression diagnosis. It was “come back in two weeks if you’re still struggling” despite knowing I was suicidal!!
The waiting times for an appointment are shocking. Have to wait for a number of weeks to get an appointment. That’s when you can get through to a receptionist after being on hold or in the queue for numerous hours a day.
Now, years on I’m trying to get an appointment with the nurse for the contraceptive injection. Was told they can’t do it because it’s not on my notes. I’ve been on the depot since 2016!! Because of my other health conditions I had to have GP approval before going ahead with it. The practice nurse was the one that administered it for years until they stopped the drop clinic. I know things have been squiffy with the covid pandemic but after years of dreadful service, I’m considering moving to another surgery.
