Reception staff very polite and helpful. I have noticed an incredible change over the last few weeks it's good to be able to see the same GP and thus get extremely good continuity of care. Please treat staff in the same manner you would wish to be treated. I have had no problem getting face to face appointments. We are extremely fortunate to have a practice on our doorstep .

I very rarely contact my Surgery for an appointment and I really feel unhappy with the service the Surgery is providing.
There are no pre-book able appointments available?, told to ring in the morning of which I have tried on numerous occasions at 8 am with no success, this morning being number 30 in the qye at 8am.
I did not require an appointment on the day ,I was happy to book in the future, but told nothing available until next year, call in the morning or call into the surgery with your Identification so that you can check online daily if anything shows?.
People do go to work and can't always call at 8 am in the morning and be on hold for an hour everyday to be told no appointments and also clogging up the phone lines for those patients that want a same-day appointment, or check online booking systems, particularly those that don't use online systems, elderly and vulnerable patients.
I understand Anstey is a very busy village and the doctors practice is perhaps not big enough or have enough Doctors to cover the village, however not being able to book a prebookable appointment until next year is quite astonishing.

An excellent, thorough service. I have always found that the quality of care at Anstey Surgery is of the highest order. All of the team are friendly and efficient and all aspects of the system work in harmony for an efficient and effective outcome.

The worst doctors! The receptionists are stuck up and entitled. Never any appointments! Even when you call from 8 and one of the first in the queue. Refusing to see a child! Honestly disgusting!! HOW IS THERE NEVER ANY APPOINTMENTS WHEN IM CALLING FROM 8am AND NUMBER 13 IN THE QUEUE This isn’t the only issue there has been plenty! Putting the phones down on me, ignoring the calls, wouldn’t give me a 6WEEK POSTPARTUM CHECK UP UNTILL 11 weeks! That’s the start! Normally I don’t right reviews but it’s starting to become a joke.

Very helpful receptionist requested pictures of septic finger and Dr Egan phoned back within an hour. Medication was then prescribed. Very speedy and reasauring process....on a Monday morning too.

What can I say this GP has gone down hill , you be Lucky to get an appointment on the day when you actually get though you call at the times 8am / 18:30pm to find you’re in a queue between 13 people before the phone cuts off you try to call again number of times can’t get though , once you get though it’s past 8am , and the queue time is 29 people you have an option to call back but remain in the queue well this option doesn’t work , I called again to get though to a woman the famous words we are fully booked no appointments try calling again tomorrow 8am or if it’s a medical emergency 111 or your nearest doctor Charnwood or Loughborough, ‍♂️ the woman wasn’t understanding when I said I call at 8am and even requested a call back witch never happened , and was in the queue before the phone cuts off , she replied our phone was down and we have problems they just came back up now , even though they was ringing? no offence good luck to anyone to get an appointment here because it’s so impossible unless you go online or NHS app apparently witch I looked you can’t book appointment though the NHS app it says call your GP or medical emergency 111/999 ‍♂️ so please stop saying to people on the phone book your appointment though that app right rant over I hope this helps some people out there .
