So I have like most of the UK been fed up with the GP services, mainly can’t get appointments when needed let alone get through on the phone & often e-consult does not get a response after the initial auto reply.

Today I had an appointment here for two long standing (years) health problems where I have got nowhere previously mainly as couldn’t get to see a doctor but got to a stage where I really needed help. I saw Dr Agnieszka Bojarowska & was shocked (in a good way) this was a throw back to the good old days, this lady listened & I even asked her with confidence about a second problem & both of my issues she actually physically examined me.

She is arranging two prescriptions & a referral to a specialist for one of them, these issues as I say I’ve had for years that have progressively got worse. Very friendly professional doctor who I would like to thank for her time.

Absolutely the worst doctors surgery I’ve ever been to. They are useless and in over a year I’ve not seen one doctor! I’ve been over prescribed drugs by useless practitioners who don’t check notes first: I’ve been left in agonizing pain because they won’t see you face to face and only deal with you on the phone. I’ve been ignored, not been listened to and quite frankly when someone gets to jump the queue and see someone before me when their appointment was way after mine and then use the same consulting room as a place to make their complaint about the place it’s the last straw for me. I’ve left today and I won’t be going back. And if you have any sense you’ll avoid this surgery. Lack of care, unprofessional, pay no attention, oh and say you can keep antibiotics in case you need them one day. What a joke. Oh and they don’t give you test results, important ones like cervical smears. They don’t care so avoid

Shocking service, no care or compassion for the patient or family. Actually sent my husband away and told him to go to A&E, even though he was having a heart attack. Then blamed us for not calling first, which takes 20 mins to get through if you are lucky!! No duty of care no code of conduct. They are in the wrong business, they ask for respect but give none! Just shocking!!!

Possibly the worse surgery in West Sussex. Would not recommend to anyone. Never on time. Never helpful. Never resolve the issues. Staff are rude. Staff are incompetent. Had the cheek to prescribe me plasters trying to make
Me Pay the prescription price rather than normal prices. I have not had a good thing to say about this surgery. Definitely do not recommend, so poorly run it’s a joke.

Wouldn't bother, hour waiting time, not like anyone has stuff to do other than sit there, just imagine if the patient was an hour late for the appointment.
No "sorry were running late" receptionist didn't have a clue what going on, I understand things over run but I went there with horrendous back pain and to be made to sit there for over an hour!!!!

My diabetes treatment has been horrendous, different medicine all the time, I'm a guinea pig for them as they do not seem to have a clue what's going on, no help whatsoever so my condition is basically the same as when it started 2 years ago.

Having other friends and family telling me of their bad experiences at this surgery I tried to keep an open mind but sadly when I started to need help for a condition I could not fix myself this was soon dashed.
Sadly over the 8 months I have had an ongoing condition the Angmering surgery has not really lived up to expectations. Despite seeing man people at Angmering and Coppice, the appointments never seemed to actually achieve anything for a long time until I had to moan a bit to get them to listen and get a private referral as its clear no doctor had a clue what was wrong with me, keep sending me home with pain killers.
There is a culture of trying to get you out of the room pretty quickly. It became almost predictable what doctors would say. They also would not listen to private medical advice I paid for and hands on treatment of hours, when they wouldn’t not even see you for more than 5 minutes.
When I finally got referred to a specialist things sort of started to improve. But the NHS waiting list is causing great delays so I recently paid for a private MRI which guess what – proved the private healthcare provider correct in their suspected diagnosis. Things would not be so bad now for me if they had taken me serious and listened to the advice I had earlier in the year.
The phlebotomist is a lovely lady however and was very professional and kind.
There are many issues sadly here such as:
1.) Having to see multiple doctors just to get an appointment sooner rather than being able to see one throughout the condition.
2.) One doctor in question simply googled my symptoms as he doesn't know how to help. All he could suggest was a tense machine. Ill save naming to embarrass them.
3.) Incorrect blood tests being done, the immune disease test was missed. I believe this is a requirement to even get onto the MSK pathway. Only recently rectified.
4.) Irrelevant X rays on the wrist being done when pre-knowledge told them it would not show anything as bones are fine.
5.) The general feeling that no sooner are you in the consulting room you are hurried through talking about your issue and are out within 2 minutes - not true of all doctors but this my general feeling of the surgeries.
6.) The lack of ability to take into account the private healthcare despite giving permission to discuss the case together and the notes provided which of course now are becoming true.

If management are serious about patient care they will take these seriously.

This surgery has really deteriorated since Covid. Impossible to get an appointment with a GP.The only people who appear to be working are receptionists, prescribing team and nurses/ phlebotomists. The default seems to be to get you to diagnose yourself or send photos. Shocking.
