Having laser eye surgery with Mr. Anderson and his team has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. From the initial consultation to the aftercare, everything was handled with professionalism and care. Mr. Anderson explained the process clearly, making me feel confident and relaxed. I spent 8 years considering bilateral eye surgery but if I had met Mr Anderson then I would have spent just 8 seconds. I am now enjoying life with 20/20 vision after recently undergoing ReLEx SMILE to correct my shortsightedness (-6.50) and astigmatism. I received seamless, first class treatment all the way. You couldn’t ask for a better surgeon than David Anderson, he is extremely knowledgeable and personable and put me at ease throughout my patient journey. The procedure was painless and anyone who enjoys sci fi will find it fascinating. I was provided with plenty of aftercare - quite an intensive eye drop schedule but I followed it to the letter and enjoyed a fast and thorough healing process. Lastly, The Wessex Nuffield Hospital itself deserves a mention . The building is clean, relaxing, and the staff are both friendly and professional.

I had a +5.50 prescription, and a squint. I had worn glasses for almost 40 years and I knew no different. I had previously seen 2 other clinics over past 20yrs for assessments and both said technology wasn't advanced enough yet to treat me. When I found Dr. Anderson I noticed he was a details man, and in my consultation I learned more about my eyes than ever before and instantly knew when he said he could perform Complex Lasik that he was the man for the job. Was able to book in within a month, and every check, touch point was slick and seen less right through my care. The op went as well as could be expected and was made to feel at ease throughout. The aftercare was well explained to me and I went home wandering what was in store for me, as this was the bit that made me most anxious. There's a lot of eye drops for the first few days and it feels dry and scratchy, but never once experienced pain during op or post-op. Next day post-op I tested 20/20 and although was a little blurry, I could see and drive etc. After 2 weeks the dryness improved somewhat, and by 6 weeks I felt great. Fast forward 3 months and just had my final check up, absolute precision by Dr. Anderson, can see better now than I could with glasses. Thank you for the life changing freedom that this op has given me, it has improved my vision, confidence, appearance, balance, compensatory and rotational factors of the head and neck and all associated pains.
