I contacted True Bearing in Autumn 2020 to obtain financial advice in preparation for mine & my husbands’ retirement the following summer. Due to covid our meetings with Mark Russel were via Microsoft Team which was sightly challenging for us, being technophobes but Mark was patient and professional. Qualities that he displayed over the next year as I had to reschedule several times, on each occasion Mark was flexible and accommodated our needs.
Following our initial meeting Mark prepared a cashflow report which demonstrated our various options, clearly illustrating the impacted of inflation on our savings and the importance of investing appropriately. Once we had agreed the need to invest Mark provided questionnaires to access our attitudes to risk and loss which informed the products that he recommended. Throughout he was keen to ensure that we were comfortable with the funds he recommended and that we were clear on all charges, etc.

He is quick to respond to my emails, provides monthly emails to clients and has recommended some books and podcasts. Having now taken his advice I would have no hesitation in recommending him, indeed my husband has already passed on Marks details to a colleague who has also recently retired.
