For people working 9 - 5 jobs this place is useless. Tried to move my appointment to a more suitable time. (I Finish work at 4pm)
They told me to book a day off or go to a hospital to get my blood taken for blood tests because they don't take them after 3pm. Thats idiotic!
It says while on hold you now do weekend appointments but you won't even offer me one of them!

This is a really poor doctors. Rude and unhelpful reception staff who very rarely speak to you as if you’re a human being. Appointments are like gold dust and you’re lucky if you can get a telephone appointment or blood test in under a month. Doctors are always running behind, leaving you sat there for at least half hour after your allotted slot every time (including first thing in the morning). The whole place is a shambles.

Joined this practice 2 years ago following a house move to be close to family due to age and infirmaty. Have always found Doctors, Nurses, and Staff to be very professional, and will always offer a call back consultation if condition is urgent, or no immediate appointment available. Prescription ordering through System on Line is easy. Due to health conditions I require frequent blood tests, and all phlebotomists are caring and proficient, particularly Felicity.
My only adverse comment is the time taken waiting to speak with reception (often a queue of 10+ previous callers).

It’s a weird thing to say say a blood test was a great experience but Felicity was so lovely, it made it an enjoyable one. She managed to draw blood when most count find my veins and with no pain what so ever. So thank you and fully recommend this Doctors surgery.

I asked for a callback from my dr this morning and reception staff were as usual on hearing my name said it wasn’t urgent and asked dr Clayton who said it could wait a week I had 8 blood clots 9 months ago and I have a broken rib and suffer with -3.4 osteoporosis and live alone with no help and no family and now refused medication for a further week unacceptable cruelty you wouldn’t treat an animal like this it would be classed as abuse these reception staff victimise vulnerable patients they don’t like maybe because the dr there misdiagnosed a blood clot in my leg as a pulled muscle that lead to a pulmonary embolism

Since joining this doctors I’ve had nothing but issues. To be honest it’s been a nightmare. My previous doctors was amazing and this is in another level. Firstly it took months and months for them to put the correct medication on their system and endless amounts of trips just to ensure they have done it this time but when I go to pick up meds from pharmacy - wrong again!!!! Also, when I try and email through my repeats prescriptions to them (as their rules) to be ordered they don’t email back and I’m constantly chasing to see if this has been done to which they reply ‘didn’t receive anything’ even though it’s the email they use but on other occasions they do receive it just don’t bother to look! Luckily I am moving home and will be glad to see the back of it

Just wanted to share my experience today with Alpine House surgery and Mountsorrel Pharmacy.
For the last 2 weeks I have been having some issues with an exacerbation of ongoing symptoms. I needed some medical/health support and rang the doctors this morning at 08.10. I got straight through to reception who offered me a face to face appointment at 08-40.
Seen the doctor, who gave me the health support, care and advice I needed.
Went to the pharmacy and after a very short wait, collected the required medication.
Back home by 09-30 after seeing a doctor and with the required medication in hand.
Great teamwork from Alpine House and Mountsorrel pharmacy.
Thankyou!!
