Visited yesterday after a 3 and a half hour drive to get there. To be honest, we expected more... We waited about 20 minutes for entry into the pool, once inside lockers are free with use of wristbands to lock. There are 4 big slides, but the little one in the photo seriously needs looking at, it needs made longer before it causes a child some serious injuries. The amount of children we seen hit the end with their legs or fly out was unreal! Be careful if you are visiting and your kid wants on this slide! We enjoyed the outdoor pools, however the bigger one was closed for a duration of our visit unfortunately. Didn't like the gravel on the steps, it hurt your feet getting into the pool. Slides were fun, but expect a good walk up stairs to access them, really enjoyed the green slide. We didn't visit the cafe as thought it would be overpriced. Definitely needs more staff, as when we were finished, we were changing in a changing room that someone had urinated in the smell was horrendous!!
I wouldn't visit again, as it is a long way to come for little reward. However I like the fact you got 3 hours in the pool rather than 90 minutes that others offer. And paying for parking is disgusting when I paid over £100 for entry!

Visited today, 1st November 2024. Two excellent outdoor pools, one 35+ degrees, the other around 29 degrees. Also has an indoor wave pool, kids play pool, and sun loungers , also various water slides. Decent cafe for drinks & food, outdoor area also has sun loungers and tables & chairs for warmer weather. We paid for a three hour slot, it was worth it. Decent wristbands band which is also a digital key for the locker, and plenty of lockers available. Parking paid for via the Ringo app which was fairly priced.

A mixed experience. A great facility, that just needs better internal signage and better non-slip flooring. Staff are constantly having to sweep and various areas heavily bottleneck.

Timings of visits are unclear.

Facility is allowed to oversubscribe, which they would possibly get away with if they adequately staffed it, but some areas are heavily understaffed, such as slides (2-3 staff in total for top and bottom of 4 slides, with poor signage leaves lots of customers confused and/or pushing in etc).

Poor health and safety witnessed in all areas, such as dirty changing rooms, slippy floors, drink allowed in the pool etc.

An OK visit which could be superb with some common sense basics and better management of the facility and it's staffing.

Our first visit as a family and we absolutely loved it. We hadn't prepared ourselves for the workout of all the stairs for the water rides. Brilliant day!!

Great for what it is. The slides are pretty good, and there was little wait to go on them unlike other swimming pools, but there was a lack of pools - only 3, two were outside, and there was a small "splash" area. maybe the slides were the marketing point, but the uniqueness in both the actual pools and slides are what make it up, and the 3-hours you get on there are worth it. Recommended for families with older children (about 6+.)

My first experience of alpamare and can easily say it was an experience. Haha

There were hundreds of people stuffed inside the entrance and only two (sometimes 3) people serving. Occasionally a man would turn up to tell people who'd been stuck on there for 30 minutes to 'form two queues' but that ship had sailed.

In the end we got through

It's unisex family changing rooms which were messy but easily accessed. However the magnetic lockers weren't trustworthy and someone was crying because their phone got pinched. Luckily I wasn't swimming so I sat with all the bags

The toilets were horrendous. Honestly I felt bad for anyone who had to use them.

The pools looked really fun and even though the slides were a long wait they looked cool.

The kids enjoyed it thoroughly and will definitely go back

The lounger chairs were great but could've used some more.

The food was acceptable and there were even gluten free options and the staff seemed very knowledgeable about allergens.

The security staff were fun and there were lots of people cleaning so all in all I enjoyed it. Just need to fix the state of those toilets and the lockers.

Visited earlier this year as the final part of our holiday and had a great time. My little boy loved the family slides. We didn't sample the cafe though so can't comment on food etc. but it looked good what others were having. The outdoor pools were really warm albeit busy, the indoor waves were lots of fun too. The staff (management was Jake/Joe (sorry forgot!), Kate the lifeguard and Phoebe on reception) were all super lovely and friendly, will definitely be returning!

Thank goodness it's open again. Nice feature allowing you to stay on for £2pp per hour was welcome. Could do with a few more staff, entry was slow and arduous, should have been 1 or 2 more watching the slides too. I'm not sure the traffic light system was working on the 2 person slide either so that needs fixing.

Appreciate costs aren't cheap but really hope in the next few years, the new owners can add some more slides to keep it's appeal to returning visitors.
