Lovely place, but unfortunately the "cheese scones" were the least cheesy I have tasted. Only the crisp item on the top had any taste at all. Otherwise nice coffee but disappointing scone.

Went to the cafe, really busy, staff working their socks off, but doing it with a smile and customer service was impeccable. There was passion for exceptional service and I left thinking, I'll absolutely return. Sausage rolls were pretty awesome too - just saying!

Just wanted to say a MASSIVEthank you to you and all your staff at the Artisan coffee shop this morning. What a fabulous experience. Albeit very busy due to Christmas fare. Everyone had a smile Everyone was cheerful and very accommodating. Your cheese scones were amazing never seen the likes before. Keep on doing what your doing. Highly recommended.

Warning. If you're like me when out with family you don't read the additional information under the coffee menu
my daughter in law is vegan and we asked for 2 coffee's with oat milk the additional price added to the normal price for a coffee is 75p per cup making coffee £4.50 a cup to add insult to injury then my coffee was delivered to the table some had been spilt and wasn't topped up,

What a lovely place this is to spend a few hours browsing around the craft shops, and having a coffee and bite to eat in the restaurant. Well behaved dogs welcome in the restaurant and there are also tables with benches outside. They have a breakfast and lunch menu, real bean coffee and scrumptious looking cakes. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming, always smiling and attentive. The staff in the shops were also very friendly. There are also gardens to wander around but you would need to pay (£2.50 i believe). Beautiful peacocks/peahens wandering around the grounds. Well worth a visit
