I have been to see Rosie for over 7 years now. I have even moved county and now drive a 3 hour round trip to visit her. She has helped me to build my immune system back to strength, to avoid colds/chest infections, but most importantly she has cured my chronic back pain. Rosie supports my mental health, rebalances my energy and keeps me de-stressed so I can cope with life better. I only see Rosie as maintenance now. She works wonders! I have tried acupuncturists closer to home but nobody compares to her special way of putting the needles in and her knowledge. Accupuncture cures a lot - give it a go in safe hands! I unfortunately have had a horrible experience with Rosie. 2 appointments in total. The first was okay. The second appointment I attended with some minor injuries to my lower limbs. I was still able to complete daily tasks relatively pain free during this period as pain was mild.

After seeing Rosie, my ankle and foot have been so badly damaged I've been in agony and unable to walk properly since my last appointment due to severe pain and discomfort. I left the appointment in a lot more pain than I went in with.

I am able to accept that it's possible to sustain further injury for a short period of time following these treatments - but what I am not able to accept is that my appointment was incredibly rushed and there was very little communication which I feel led to the injury. I left with several pins left in me that were not removed and should have been. There was no after care advice, no support when voicing my symptoms, no compassion and in general zero care. I was rushed off. There was also no explanation as to what potentially caused this so you are left to fester in anxiety as no advice or support.

During consultation, there is no clear verbal planning so you arent able to fully consent to what she is doing to you. Nor do you have any idea what she is even doing to you. During my consultation, she did not properly examine my injuries or listen to what I was telling her which left me very uncomfortable during the session. And incredibly uncomfortable afterwards. I am completely disheartened and regretful I trusted this lady with my health. At 2 weeks post appointment, my foot is still worse than it was before I went to see her. I've lost work, money and am just overall upset with her lack of regard and compassion.

Had she have taken time to explain the risks, what to expect following the session, and offer me support over at least the telephone, I would not be writing this review. She appears unbothered about following up and helping me with the issue. But happy to take your money. I was offered another appointment but given that I have children, I work, and I now cannot walk well, i couldn't get to her. When I could get to her, I contacted her again to let her know and was ignored which I think is disgraceful when you're aware your patient is suffering as a result of the treatment you provided. I will now be seeking help from a professional and I stand by fully regretting having seen Rosie. Obviously I will not be trusting her again.

* update. 5 weeks later my foot is still damaged due to the treatment I had with Rosie and my Mobility is reduced with lots of radiating pain across all areas of my upper foot. I am now having to see a specialist due to being unable to weight bare fully. Please anyone with any serious health conditions consider potential complications that can occur from treatments like this. I am suffering horribly and wouldn't want anyone else to endure this. Unfortunately, Rosie is being dishonest in her reply. I WAS pulling needles out of myself after I left the building. She did not remove these properly and they were under my coat she asked me NOT to remove. I contacted her several times to tell her about my foot. At one point I thought it was improving, but it then deteriorated again the following day. She was in fact informed of this (photo enclosed and more to show). I was never a "no show" I couldn't make the appointment due to child care. Rosie was informed of this. I did attempt to call Rosie several times to which all were ignored. And just like the review reply, there is no apology and no compassion. I am just called a "nasty liar". I will be submitting my evidence to a solicitor. She provided no after care advice, no support, no consultation form etc... and I am left injured. I should have been an absolute priority given that she has caused me HARM, I was very clearly in a lot of distress and pain. A simple apology and some support would have gone a long way but due to the dishonesty, denial etc... I will be doing what I can to persue this lady legally.
