I cannot recommend Joanne enough! After experiencing a previous miscarriage, I was understandably worried about getting pregnant again. I began seeing Joanne for acupuncture sessions weekly, and I was pregnant shortly after starting treatment. Her support and expertise have been incredible. Throughout my pregnancy, I've continued acupuncture with her, and it's completely stabilised my hormones and it has helped to boost my Chi. Joanne's calm and reassuring presence has been a constant source of comfort. As a former midwife, I felt like I had access to an amazing professional every time I saw her. Honestly, everyone could benefit from having a Joanne in their life—she is truly one of a kind!

We had been TTC for 13 months and something had to give. After meeting Jo she instantly made me feel at ease. We had acupuncture for fertility and after just 6 sessions discovered that I was pregnant.

Jo is so knowledgeable, calming and professional. I have continued treatment throughout pregnancy and cannot recommend her enough.

Went to see Joanne as I was having trouble sleeping and had really bad anxiety. Just after the first session I came out feeling great, I slept well that night and felt so calm. I now go to see her on a regular basis. How the hell sticking needles in works I have no idea, but I’m glad it does. My doctor had put me on anxiety tablets, which made me feel awful but acupuncture has enabled me to not need them. Whilst I have to admit not liking needles after a while I have grown used to them and it doesn’t really bother me now…and I would rather have a tiny little prick as they go in than have to take tablets. And Joanne has become a friend too, she’s a lovely person. Throughly recommend you try….I am so glad I did and I really look forward to my sessions with her, especially my ‘gin and tonic’ needle

From the moment I met Jo she has been nothing but welcoming, helpful and informative. She is very knowledgeable and supportive.
I was told about trying acupuncture to help with fertility struggles. My husband and I had been TTC for just short of two years and I started having weekly acupuncture with Jo and after four sessions I found out I was pregnant.
I am so grateful to Jo for helping me, it’s a double bonus being a midwife too! My sessions are like therapy not to mention the calming feeling afterwards. I have continued my sessions with Jo now throughout my pregnancy. I would 100% recommend Jo and acupuncture to anyone!

I saw Joanne at the start of spring, and had weekly sessions for a couple of months, and the difference has been outstanding.

I have suffered with hayfever since childhood and would take several different tablets multiple times a day and still struggle with symptoms. However after the acupuncture treatment this year, I’ve probably had 5 tablets the whole summer.

I’m absolutely amazed at the difference, and for the first time I’ve been able to enjoy the warm weather.

Joanne has been fantastic, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!
I will definitely be booking in again next year

After two unsuccessful rounds of IVF and several years of TTC, I contacted Jo for a consultation as I wondered if having acupuncture would help with conceiving. She was instantly very warm and empathetic and very knowledgable and I felt I could trust her with something so sensitive to me very quickly. She put me at ease straight away and not only became my acupuncturist but my counsellor each week too! Combining her breadth of expertise in both midwifery and in acupuncture, she put into place a very personalised plan to support my next round of IVF but also prioritised my mental wellbeing (which had taken a knock over time due to the fertility failures) which really helped me a lot. Not only did my mental health improve dramatically but the next round was successful and I am now expecting my first child! I would recommend Jo to anybody, she is a gem!

Joanne has been treating my 2 year old daughter over the last few months, and the improvement is amazing!
