My partner and I recently attended Lucy’s upholstery course which was so wonderful! Lucy herself is warm and welcoming and you immediately feel comfortable in her presence. The surroundings of where’s she’s based are just so lovely - calming countryside, gorgeous views and the creative barn space for therapy/ upholstery just feel like home! Whilst on the uphostery course we were offered a guided meditation which was so welcome and certainly helped our creativity. I couldn’t recommend Lucy more - plus the cakes and cups of tea were delightful! Xx

I went on the one-day upholstery course and loved it! The studio is in beautiful countryside, Lucy's knowledge and assistance it top-notch and the homemade cake was delicious. The small group sizes mean you get a lot of one-to-one. The conversations we has about creativity, women and wellbeing were great. I felt creative, relaxed and at peace throughout/afterwards. I recommend Lucy and her courses to everyone.

I attended the one day Upholstery and Upcycling course which was purchased for me as a gift by friends and I had a fantastic time. The communication I had with Lucy before the day was excellent, she answered all of my questions very quickly.

Lucy is a passionate and knowledgeable tutor who totally puts you at ease the moment you walk into the workshop, the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed and informal and the cakes were amazing!

I learned a lot and am very happy with what I managed to produce, I hope to attend more of Lucy's courses in the future.

Lucy's workshops feel like a real treat! I learnt how to tackle reupholstering footstools and completed my own little footstool project on the day. Her studio feels like a retreat and the company and pace of the course is very relaxed while at the same time you feel you are learning heaps. I would highly recommend a day with Lucy!

This taste of interior design course was a brilliant day which I know my husband and I will continue to use and reflect upon. I researched several similar courses and opted for Lucy's as she has small groups (ours was great fun) and I liked what she wrote about the day. We were not disappointed and were really pleased to have attended together: we learned about colour theory and used paints to test out our understanding; we considered colour and texture, height and layering; and we had plenty of groupwork and practical activities to ensure we understood what Lucy had taught us.

The result of just this one day is that we look at colour with a greater understanding of its role, and we feel able to plan our colours with more confidence as we decorate our extension and renovations. We were able to discuss some of our ideas and questions with Lucy and were helped with fantastic suggestions and ideas that we want to use as soon as the building work is done!

Lovely food, engaging and warm teaching, a beautiful location and a great group all contributed to a memorable day.

I attended Lucy's colour retreat on Friday and have never felt so relaxed and at peace. The whole day was lovely - the setting, the food, the delicious juices and teas and of course Lucy herself. The guided mediation and yoga were so relaxing. A real "retreat treat"! Thank you!

Not only did I learn some practical skills, but Lucy shared some of her mindfulness practices and meditation exercises, which were beautifully calming and relaxing.
