A Hidden Gem for Relaxation and Wellness

I recently visited The Good Sauna in Manchester, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The combination of a traditional sauna, invigorating cold plunge, and a cozy outdoor campfire area is perfection.

The sauna is spotlessly clean and delivers just the right amount of heat, making it ideal whether you’re a seasoned sauna user or trying it for the first time. The cold plunge was intense but left me feeling completely refreshed—it’s like hitting the reset button for your body and mind.

The outdoor campfire relaxation area is the cherry on top. Sitting by the fire with a warm drink after alternating between the sauna and plunge is pure bliss. It’s a peaceful, unique retreat right in Manchester. The location is stunning with views of the city skyline.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience for visitors. I can’t recommend The Good Sauna enough—this is a must-try for anyone looking to de-stress and recharge. It’s also a great sober activity to do with friends, which is rare to find these days. I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing new wood fired sauna & cold plunge in the heart of Manchester City centre. It’s the perfect place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon and unwind after a long week at work. Great facilities, very welcoming and an incredible experience. Can’t wait for the next visit already!! ?

Incredible wellbeing day at The Good Sauna. From start to finish we were welcomed and looked after by the owners. The facilities were high quality, clean and tranquil. The ice bath experience was refreshing and exhilarating with people being mad enough to spend 6minutes in there... I spent 30 seconds and darted out. The sauna was so calm, hot and relaxing. A huge relief and sanctuary after the cold plunge. We were given complimentary teas and we relaxed round the firepit during the session. What a nice addition to the city. The staff were lovely and couldn't do anymore to make us feel comfortable.

Gave the Good Sauna a try today and absolutely loved it. Have visited a couple in the past but never really felt comfortable to give the cold plunge bit a go! I’ve no idea if it was the professionalism of Johnny and his team, the cosy environment or the fire pit offering a nice relax in between… but we did it!!!!! Their guidance really helped and managed to repeat three cycles of cold and hot. The herbal tea is a nice touch and also got to explore a newer part of Manchester so spotted a couple of hidden restaurants walking from Deansgate tram. Thought it would feel like an ‘off the bucket list’ tick box but we’ve already planned to come back… Definitely recommend as this felt fun but traditional so felt like we were doing it properly.
