Waited 25mins to get through kept saying user busy which I understand. I then got through and was in a Que position 7 after anouther 20 mins the rejectionist picked up and said hello I was talking to her trying to book an appointment after 2 seconds she said hello again perhaps didn’t hear me talking and just put the phone down! Now can’t get through again and will be back of the Que, another hour to wait.

I have the call timer in my phone and saids two seconds. Not long enough before slamming the phone down because you can’t be bothered, finally got through asked the woman what happened annd that you hung up on and she ignored me just kept asking for my name, then had a thing with me the whole phone call where she was bully and barely talking mabey it’s because I called her out.

Because of this, all appointments gone for today even though I rang when they opened at 8:30am booking me in at a random other doctors 6 days forward from today! And 30mins from my house just what I want.

Called at 08:30 about a knee problem, couldn’t put my weight on it. Had an appointment at 09:00 and they organised an X-ray same afternoon. Excellent patient care?

My autistic adult son had an appointment at 10.50am today and as soon as we arrived we were told the GP was running an hour late! Surely they could have sent a text to let me know so that we didn't have to sit there for over an hour! This could have caused a behavioural outburst from him.

Over the past two weeks my wife and self have had two appointments. The receptionists have been customer focussed and solution driven . A real change. They too face many pressures from the public. Both doctors seen demonstrated great listening skills and had wonderful disposition. Thank you NHS. The greatest institution this country has.

Reception staff are really friendly and helpful. I've never had a problem getting an appointment for myself or my son. They do a very tough job and deserve praise for staying so polite under stressful circumstances. All the medical staff I've had appointments with have been equally as friendly and professional.
Unfortunately you do often have to call multiple times for an appointment, which are snapped up quickly, but this is not a unique situation to this practice. The staff are trying their best given the situation with the NHS, people seem to forget a lot of things are out of their control.

My wife has been a patient for a number of years and has a mixture of good and bad experiences. The worst experience was when my wife was constantly under the doctor and kept getting told she had a chest infection it got to the stage where they prescribed antibiotics over the phone without seeing her. It got where we went to an out of hours doctors in oadby who sent us straight to hospital after listening to her chest, at the hospital it was found that she had pneumonia and was admitted in for 10 days. After this episode she kept getting bad coughs we would phone the doctors and although they had my wife's record's they just issued antibiotics without out listening and checking her out.she ended up in hospital another 5 timed in less than 2 years with pneumonia. Thankfully the doctors now offer an appointment now when we phone up

Rang the surgery to discuss a repeat prescription and other information and the receptionist spoke to me extremely rudely and basically called me a liar at one point?! Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. Why put someone on the phone that has no people skills whatsoever. Its not the first time I've been spoken down to over the phone either. I can't wait to change doctors ?
