In terrible pain just given pain killers and antibiotics. Next day I drove to Stockport hospital, CT and MRI scan and admitted to hospital with discitis. No attempt to treat the cause at Hereford

What a super hospital, it's really clean and airy with excellent staff. There are a full range of medical services available including high tech.
The staff are all well trained, knowledgeable and professional.
The carparking is good in the morning but does get difficult in the PM.
There's a large pleasant café at the front entrance which is good but a touch expensive.
There are some stained glass windows internally which are interesting.
It's a really good and helpful hospital with a full range of facilities available.
Update Jan 2024:
Am still finding the hospital to be very good, staff are excellent and facilities good including the café.
Not mentioned in my previous post is the fact that there is a chapel of rest in the main part of the hospital which is always open.

I arrived early for my appointment receptionist was welcoming. I'd hardly been sat down and was called for my MRI scan. The nurse that took me to the unit was friendly and chatty. We had a laugh which was welcomed. Met a lovely nurse who was very welcoming asked lots of questions explained everything thoroughly. She put me at ease ensuring throughout 8 was fine with everything. The scan seemed to go very quickly. The nurse didn't rush me before or afterwards. I couldn't have asked for more.
