We phone up the store. And ask what time the cafe closed. We were told 6pm. Was given the wrong information it is 5pm the cafe closed.

As come from London.
So we planned to get a hot meal in the cafe.

Around 4:55pm.
We went to order some meals.
We have a person with disabilities so hard to get around.

We all got to the cafe and sat down. And went to order.

The young teen is very rude.
Not helpful at all.

Said. O well the cafe closed now.
And we try to explain the situation.
He was very rude and not helpful.

We then asked for a manager, and he said no manager about it. So we went to see the security guard.

He tried to get a manager.
After 4 mins, we left the store.

We started to come to Bodmin every week to look after our old friend.

We will not be back to this store.

My partner and I were selected for a spot check at the self service and when my partner said a cheerful hello to the member staff walking towards us (we wrongly assumed they were coming to help) they threw up their hands in frustration and grunted "I can't I can't" and walked off. Presumably they were more interested in accusing their much younger colleague of touching themselves.
Both my partner and I work in retail, and we understand the job can be frustrating but this was a really uncomfortable and unprofessional experience.

In the cafe: went to the cafe as my partner wanted some food, got to the till and asked for tomato soup (which is on the menu) got told we don't have it and it's only served in winter season. I got a coffee, the lady gave me the cup after looking at it to make sure it was clean, I took it and looked inside and it had coffee all around the rim, each cup I took back had something on it or in it, the last cup i took back the staff member said "what am i look at and when i pointed it out she rolled her eyes.
All tables were not cleaned, some still had stuff on them too. One of the staff members that is bringing food out, has walked past rubbish on the floor 4 times in the time my other half has eaten his chips (which are fries). It is cheap for food if they have what you want on the menu. Also the lady on the till was more interested in her phone than serving customers

Arrived early on a Saturday. Store was clean and well stocked. Found BBQ charcoal at a good price and staff went out of their way to help me find the fire lighters. Friendly service at the checkout and a cheery “goodbye!” from staff at the door. Delightful visit.

Went to the cafe for lunch waited nearly an hour for a panini and chips. When it finally arrived it was full of cheese even though I'd picked the only one out of five that didn't have cheese listed on the front as the main ingredient. I told them I couldn't eat it as I can't eat cheese. The woman was rude and had no empathy at all. She didn't even offer me an alternative. I would have not bothered commenting on this but for the attitude of the staff. I will NEVER go there again.

Have always travelled down to this Asda but I've noticed over the last few months it's really gone down hill. Upstairs is the worst. It's like rummaging through t.k.maxx, a big jumbled mess, lots of empty kids shoe rails, lots of stuff in the "sale rail" with no price. Constantly having to ask staff the price of things. This week I asked only to find out its not in the sale its Stacey Solomons new range. Not sure how 5 of her cushions and two throws were on the sale shelf at the end of an isle... happens every time we go there! 4 members of staff upstairs of which I saw but it really isn't enough, needs a good sort out up there, feel like I'm in a charity shop. Downstairs not as bad but lots of empty cardboard boxes left on shelves or floor, there was spilt dog food all over the pet Isle this time we visited which still hadn't been seen to after checking out. Burst custard pots. Empty shelves. It's just really scummy! Shame because it used to be a lovely store. Wish id taken more photos and some of upstairs but you get the drift, it was like this everywhere, a bit of a mess.

A large Asda with mainly food and drink on the ground floor and clothes, homeware and a cafe on the first floor. There is a lift if needed.

Absolutely appalling do not recommend this for delivery as apparently they had a police incident last night but yet did they inform me of this when I was due to have a delivery no did I have to ring up over 4 times yes I would not recommend this at all and I'm really not a happy customer and Asda need to pull their finger out and actually make sure they're drivers deliver on time and no excuse about short staff. They left a vulnerable adult without food and a young toddler you should be disgusted
