Never in my life have I spoken to ruder reception staff than at Little Gaynes surgery. I have been with Little Gaynes for years and they seem to only hire rude reception staff.. if you hate your job that much.. quit ladies, it’s easy 🙂

I am looking to move surgery purely for this reason, extremely disappointing.

Never had issues with doctors here but I am very disappointed with the reception staff. Whilst I was in the process of moving home I broke my arm and desperately needed a sick certificate and that is all. Being that I still hadn’t moved in (due to refurbishment) I was still registered to this surgery but once the reception staff found out I was moving they outright refused to help me stating I needed to register to the surgery local to my next residence. I was still living in Upminster, I couldn’t drive, I couldn’t work, all my IDs and bills were still linked to my Upminster address. It was shocking they were incredibly rude and had no empathy for my situation at all. Why in the world would I still go to my old surgery if I was living an hour away?

TDr. Ram did not listen or sympathise when I developed tinnitus at the start of the year, made several mistakes when referring me to MRI's, hearing tests etc, which resulted in having to do them again and again, as well as prescribing very expensive treatments, constantly, dispute the fact I told him they made the ringing even worse. I have been waiting to be referred for almost a year to a counsellor and have subsequently moved and changed practice. I would recommend steering clear!

Excellent surgery. Friendly, helpful and attentive reception. First rate medical practitioners. Been on their books for many years. Never had the slightest complaint - though parking can be tricky.
