I can’t recommend Tom highly enough. Tom is completely passionate about his job and in helping people obtain their goals, and reaching their potential. Sessions are tailored to you, and are varied and fun. I’ve been training with Tom for over a year and not only am I physically lighter, leaner and stronger, I also recognise and feel the mental health benefits of regular exercise, and training in a safe, non-judgmental environment which Tom has created. If you’re looking for a true Personal Trainer experience, encouragement and support then Tom is your man!

Tom has been fabulous helping me through my rehab after a total hip replacement. His knowledge of the science of the body is fantastic, and also his willingness to liaise with my physio to ensure rehab is achieved in the safest way possible.
He's helped me to devise a specific training routine in line with my recent surgery.
Feeling so much better and feeling that my hip rehab has been greatly helped by Tom. He's also very patient with me!
Would highly recommend as a PT and rehab.

Tom is fantastic to work with. The sessions are well planned, he varies the intensity to ensure I get the most out of them and more importantly for me, he makes them enjoyable to train. I have been having weekly personal training sessions with Tom for over 4 years. Tom is a total professional but what makes him unique is his ability to be warm, open and accepting of his clients and meets them where they are at. Tom understands to create a positive lifestyle his approach has to be holistic and takes the time to really understand his clients in order to give them a bespoke service that meets their need’s. Since starting with Tom with a view to loosing weight (i lost 2 stone with his guidance and training) i now do not weigh myself regularly or worry about my figure as i have gained inner confidence and acceptance thanks to Toms extensive knowledge of psychology and genuine kindness. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia many years ago and exercise helps enormously but it was not something i enjoyed. Tom took the time to work with me to find what i could do and enjoyed, now i exercise regularly at home as well as my weekly PT and has become part of my lifestyle. I would not hesitate to recommend Tom Lane Personal Training.

Tom is an excellent PT who takes time to understand your personal needs and constraints and structures an appropriate training and nutrition plan. Technically, Tom ensures that the right form is taught for each exercise and he also has great knowledge of the body and explains the reasoning for each exercise. Highly recommended!

Tom helped me with training for my first marathon, we originally set a goal of 4 hours 30 mins but after working closely with Tom and the support he gave, not only in the training but also lifestyle, diet, working around other sporting commitments and getting my training and life/balance right we were able to aim for 4 hours instead. Without Tom’s help I would have never been able to achieve so much and the structure and foundations he’s put in place has allowed me to achieve much better times in races since. A pleasure to work with and an excellent partner in achieving goals!
