Google needs to add an option for NEGATIVE STARS for places like these!!!
If you have a death wish, register with this Awful Surgery. These totally unprofessional and untrained so called medical staff are literally playing russian roulette with patients lives. Firstly they will try their level best in every possible way to NOT GIVE YOU AN APPOINTMENT. Once you have the appointment, be prepared to be treated like a peasant! Turn up at the surgery at your appointment time and they will casually tell you to wait as they are running over schedule apparently! ( That is when you have asked a few times) as they don’t have the decency to inform you anyway. However try being late for appointments, cancelled in a minute! You are late! Jokers!
The staff on the appointment line is as rude as one can get! Telling you point blank! You are not listening! Or Not understanding! And if you explain the situation, then the answer is, go to walk in centre! What are you guys sat in that building for? Get paid for all the registered patients and mess them around instead of the Healthcare they deserve
I genuinely feel sorry for all the patient that are registered with this so called surgery. They all need to unite and speak up against all this before someone experiences a severe and unbearable loss. I read one of the reviewers calling this surgery a Taxi Rank. That is an insult to all the taxi ranks in my opinion as they know how to their job, at least they will book you in when you call them.
I will be formally taking this up with CQC and ensure there is accountability for their poor service and lack of respect for patients safety and care!
And before you leave a response here, stating either you don’t have the record under this name or ask me to email the surgery, like you have been with the rest of reviews, don’t bother, as this will be dealt with differently as my emails will be sent to those who are able to take some action!
Unfortunately when the practice owners are interested in running businesses and not patient care then the result is what you experience here at this comical circus!

I am deeply disappointed with the service we received at Healds Road Doctors Surgery. My husband, who recently had minor surgery and has been sick all night, needed his bandage changed. We arrived at the surgery at 9:30 AM and were told to return for an appointment at 12:30 PM. However, around 12:00 PM, the receptionist called to cancel the appointment, stating they were overbooked. It now looks infected. But no empathy has been shown by the receptionist nor the manager.
This is unacceptable and unprofessional, especially considering my husband's condition. The hospital had emphasized the importance of changing the bandage within two days, and now pus is coming out of the wound. Despite the urgency, we were told to come back tomorrow. Such behavior is appalling and shows a lack of care for patients' well-being. The GPs at this surgery really need to look into how they running this practice. A full review needs to be taken over the way this surgery handles patients care.
I would like to point out after writing this review. I rung up the surgery and spoke to Michelle about my husband how the staff dealt with this . Michelle showed empathy and dealt with this in a very professional manner had it not have been for Michelle no urgency would have been shown today ., by the staff in question ., you need more staff like Michelle who show empathy towards patients, Michelle is a great asset to Healds Road surgery. Your staff could learn from Michelle on how to demonstrate patient care and further training should be provided to staff on providing an efficient service.

Hands down the worst GP Surgery I have ever had the displeasure of moving to.
You can't speak to anyone on the phone unless you wait on hold for an hour regardless of if its an appointment you're after or anything else.
They're particularly slow at approving any online prescriptions which means you're waiting upto 5 days just for the prescription to be approved, that's before delivery.
They say "use the online clinical service yo contact a GP" only there isn't a hint of said service on their website.
They couldn't care less about their patients, the receptionists make that very clear on the phone (if you ever get through to them that is)
The whole place is an absolute joke, steer well clear.

You can call from 8 in the morning, be sat waiting for half an hour just to be told when you get through to them that there are no appointments left, if that’s the case then they need to employ more doctors to be able to deal with the amount of clients they have.
The reception staff are beyond useless and consider themselves gate keepers to the doctors, if a doctor tells you that a medication review is required on a certain date you are required to contact them on the day to arrange an appointment, just to be told by the reception staff that it doesn’t warrant an appointment and they won’t book the appointment for you.
When you do manage to see a doctor and they prescribe required medication, they will randomly and without notice cut the amount they provide for you, meaning that you have to then go back through the gate keepers and hope you are lucky enough to be given an appointment.
I have been without medication for over a week and the doctors surgery don’t seem to care, needless to say they don’t provide their duty of care to their patients, it’s more of a risk to your health being registered at this surgery than not being with one at all

Have been with them since 2015 or 2016 gone avout 2 times for myself since and a few times for my children.
Worse doctors ever ring them at 8 and your in queue position number 80 or so by the time you speak to someone all appointments taken.
Don't give next day appts because its on the day appt only
Went in today as there was a cancellation had my boys seen by a doctor or nurse said prescriptions will be ready by 7 went to pharmacy to pick them up only to be told they weren't given and nothing on system.
Absolute joke best to avoid, you'll be dead before getting seen by a doc over here.

Reception have been Antagonists, Especially Neelam, they have mimicked my accent in front of waiting area patients.
I have paid for a £30 letter from my doctor, which was incorrect, probably at no fault of the doctor. but the receptionist relaying the information.
Now they won't let me contact my doctor to request another letter.
They have been unhelpful, unempathetic towards my deadline of 2 weeks to submit my letter to Home office.
I am risking the loss of £4000 upwards that I am paying to Home office, because of the Reception team not cooperating in providing me with my GP record/letter,
Due to them being personal and not professional.

They only.care about making money.
