Ever since I've had the misfortune of needing to re-register at this surgery, there has been some kind of issue. From experiencing medical unprofessionalism by a male doctor (which I had to see after requesting a female GP) to (1) the receptionists losing a medical document after failing to process it for almost a MONTH and (2) refusing to take accountability for it.

Not to mention the surgery's inability to keep appointments, the difficulties in arranging one, and their failure to communicate even the simplest information with patients. Having experienced primary care in other parts of the UK and reading other reviews, I am shocked that this surgery hasn't been shut down due to repeated instances of medical negligence.

Every appointment this year we have had to wait 45 mins to an hour. What is the point of booking an appointment, and there is no form of communication to patients that there is a delay. If you as a patient are late 5 minutes you get told you missed a slot. Surgery used to be very good up until in the last year

This surgery should be reviewed. I have a chronic autoimmune illness and can never get help when I need it. Today I was on hold for 41 minutes for the receptionist to tell me the phones were not busy and it was strange! They won’t offer me an appointment on the phone, said I must use the online service, but I explained I can’t login as their website instructs and then they just said try the NHS app. What frustrates me is that I was talking to the receptionist who was fully aware of my condition and referral from the hospital. If there are appointments why not just book me in? They also never have my test results and without fail will direct me to the hospital, who always tell me it’s untrue and unacceptable that the GP wastes their time as they always get sent a copy, and honestly it’s a wild goose chase sometimes. Incompetence like this means I have absolutely no faith in the service and I need it right now having this new chronic condition. More than once I’ve cried after hanging up the phone to them because I know they’re just not bothering to do their job. The doctors only seem to care about meeting NHS guidelines and have no thought for patient experience. Another example of their lack of care was the GP sending me away after barely looking in my throat when I knew I had tonsillitis, then the very next day the fever got worse and the doctor at the walk in centre took five minutes to look and tell me I had severe tonsillitis and needed a three week course of high dose antibiotics. Over two years its been terribly upsetting to consistently get terrible care from the first port of call. Incompetent receptionists and uncaring GPs have left me at my limit, hence why I’ve written this long review. If you are able, I highly recommend you avoid this GP at all costs. If you have a serious condition you won’t feel safe in their hands.

Request Repeat prescription request on email as advised by reception.
Go to the chemist to collect and only 2 out of 4 items
Ring to ask why and the stroppy receptionist says it’s my fault for not requesting correctly and therefore suffer in pain!
After a long debate, the doctors rings and says they will prescribe however can not send prescription to another chemist and our normal chemist closed for the weekend!! Doctors advise is just go to walk in centre or A&E!
What is wrong with this place. Getting worse and receptionist need to stop and listen rather than dictating and brushing off peoples pain and ailments that they don’t have!
