The whole team has taken very great care of me, especially during the last 18 months.
The abuse and insults are, to me, certainly uncalled for. The staff, from top to bottom, at Kirkgate Surgery should be congratulated.

I've never had an issue with getting an appointment when ringing early apart from the waiting and I'm 29, which seems to be a better experience than my family/parents get at the hospital, so I can't complain about that. Had a few issues over the years and just can't understand it. A few years ago I came for my mental health, decided to seek help elsewhere after been prescribed three different types of medication to take to 'help me' when in fact, you can't take any of them together and I had one hell of a bad experience due too it.

I've been in agony for years with my back but over the past six months in unbearable and effecting my life at home never mind at work, got an appoint the start of July and an x-ray booked in the middle. Due to the x-ray coming back "satisfactory," I've just been left in the absolute blue like I'm suppose to know. In this time I've fully torn my ankle due to my back going last weekend and I just seem to be in more pain then ever with frequent migraines due to neck and back strain, suppose that's satisfactory? If it's obviously not what I came in for, might it be something else and isn't that for you to help me find out?

Honestly laughable, even with the good nurses/doctors they have.

Took daughter, place was spotless and very well presented. Usual receptionist, who always seem miserable. Surgery let down...

I moved from Wellington house surgery after all the brilliant GPS left during covid. The new GPS bo longer put patients needs first. I moved to kirkgate surgery. My first impressions were how clean the surgery was. The receptionist are all polite and intentive towards patients. The medical staff ie GPS diabetic nurses pharmacists clinitions and nurses are so caring and they put the patients first. You can book prebooked GP appointments aswell as call at 8.30am.they have an in house physio diabetic nurse and other facilities. Dr Jones and Dr Bilial are a credit to their profession. The surgery is run as it used to when I was a little girl. The GPS are honest with there patients and are not fobbed off like the majority of the NHS staff are. This surgery is an absolute gem within kirklees. I can not thank them enough for what they have done for me. KEEP UP THE BRILLIANT WORK YOU ARE ALL AMAZING. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.... My family & I have always been treated with the utmost care when visiting this surgery. Dr Bilal is a great doctor who has empathy for her patients & actually listens to them. I have received caring & reassuring advice from Dr Bilal over the years I have been a patient. I had an issue with accessing records, the admin staff were great & kept in touch to tell me what they were doing to resolve the issue.

This surgery is the worst surgery in the country, they employ 4/5 receptionist staff who talk to you like an idiot when they eventually answer the phone, but only have two doctors on at any time so you struggle to one even get an appointment and 2 when you do get an appointment it’s a different doctor every time that has no idea about your medical history. Take my advice don’t go just die

Excellent GP surgery with great services.
All GPs, admin staff and secretaries are very helpful and go the extra mile to help patients. Dr Bilal listens to patients and keeps them informed about their health.
