I’m going to have to edit the review based on the new phone system after the Weston merge and the unhelpful receptionist. Waited 40 mins in line to be told to see a pharmacist. Pharmacists are not going to look at an infected area fyi. To think I used to be able to see a GP….

Old review: The staff is sooo nice and friendly here! I’ve been registered with other GPs in Bristol and Bath but Rush Hill was so far the absolute best! Today I messed up and showed earlier at my appointment, the receptionist was super nice about it and they squeezed me in earlier. I’ve always gotten care when I needed it and real fast! Awesome surgery!

Great staff, and wonderful caring doctors that I just cannot fault. Yes, sometimes you have to wait on the telephone to get put through, and appointments are sometimes hard to get when we want them, but these are strange times with all the pressures heaped upon the NHS and GP surgeries currently... there are only so many patients a doctor can physically see in one day.

Last week I had a really positive experience at this surgery. I had a BEMS dermatology appt and the doctor was very good, and then I had to have some bloods taken and the lady (Jayne, I think) was incredible and so gentle, which I really appreciate as blood tests make me really anxious. I really appreciated it and was very impressed.

I had an issue with major delay here before but lovely Mandy from reception solved the problem and made my appointment finally work for me. It took a while to get to this point (apparently there have been some issues with reception turnaround people and them not fully understanding how the surgery was operating in terms of scheduling appointments) but all got resolved and Mandy paid great attention to my appointment needs. Thank you for your help, Mandy! You are a star ⭐️

Terrible surgery. Can never get an appointment. All my family was registered there and now all moved.
My brother phoned trying to make an appointment after chest pains and being recommended by paramedics, only to be told a phone appointment a month later. Safe to say everyone in my family has moved surgeries.

Website claims the surgery offers 24/7 telephone access to book an appointment. This is not true. The only way it's possible to book an appointment is to call at 8am and pray that you'll get through before they run out of appointments.

If you're going to run your surgery this way, at least be truthful about it on the website.

I moved to this surgery shortly after the closure of my beloved number 18 surgery following my GP linda mccugh, she recently left and I became nervous about speaking to other doctors , however , I was assigned to Dr Cook as my Gp and he has been fantastic i dont know why i worried , ive also spoken to De oertel and dr thompson all lovely, kind & caring .
As for the receptionists, again ive found them lovely, polite and helpful doing thier best under pressure, Ive had cause to contact the surgery often due to my complex health needs and am more than happy with the care & attention given by all @ rush hill.

Excellent surgery. Always found the receptionists kind, polite and helpful especially given how busy they must be. Never had a problem getting an appointment when one of the family has needed one.
