I joined Sophie's Bump Burn when I was about 20 weeks pregnant due to having to give up running on medical advice.

My consultant knew Sophie and encouraged my attendance. I was nervous at first, but Sophie is so friendly and welcoming that I made up my mind to attend every week. I trained up until the week before the birth of my son and now attend Baby Burn with him.

We practice different strength and core exercises in a circuit, which is good as I get bored easily. Sophie always corrects us if we've not quite got it right and she is always there to ask of we're stuck.

Sophie also babysits for short periods during the session, so we can make the most of our workout. I think this is really important as we can actually get on with exercising and not worry about the babies.

I would highly recommend these classes for any pregnant/ post pregnant woman even if you don't regularly attend a gym.

I started attending Sophie’s BabyBurn classes 6 weeks postpartum having never in my life spent any time in a gym environment. I was really nervous but Sophie was so friendly and knowledgeable she really helped me feel comfortable. I’m now 10 months postpartum and in the best shape I’ve even been- in my life! Sophie has taught me so much and I really look forward to bringing my baby along each week and having a good catch up over a workout! Being a midwife she really knows what she’s talking about postpartum, adapting workouts and if anything feels uncomfortable she is full of knowledge and wisdom that has always helped either put my mind at ease or corrected my form when needed to avoid potential injury. Being able to bring my daughter along with me means there’s no excuse not to carve time out for myself during maternity leave and Sophie is amazing and helping keep the babies occupied to allow us mums to get a good work out, whilst also supporting us to do so. The benefits of Sophie’s classes to my postpartum mental health have honestly been invaluable, and I really can’t thank you enough for your support Sophie!

Sophie has been doing antenatal online coaching for me and I have been really happy with her service. We have weekly check ins and she is always available and quick to respond to any questions in between. I feel in safe hands with her as she has such good knowledge from her midwifery experience as well as a really big repertoire of exercises. The workouts she has given me each week have been really varied and challenging to the right level for my stage of pregnancy. Would definitely recommend and look forward to working with Sophie post-partum as well.

Highly recommend**
I started going to Sophie’s classes at 14 weeks, I had no interest in the gym before pregnancy but, wanted to keep myself fit and healthy. I went to the classes every week up until the day before I had my baby and was back 6 weeks after with my baby in tow! Sophie has excellent knowledge of fitness and also any questions I had about pregnancy she was super helpful. On top of this she is an amazing PT super friendly always at hand to help.

Absolutely incredible and will be going back for post birth coaching online too!

I asked to be coached online by Sophie whilst I was pregnant with my first. I wanted to stay strong throughout my pregnancy and be in the best place possible for birth and recovery afterwards.. and Sophie delivered.

Being pregnant is hard but during my workouts was when I felt my best both physically and mentally.

I was even working out until a day before I went into labor! My labor was 18 hours and I was back on my feet very quickly! I owe this to the workouts Sophie made specifically for me.

6 weeks postpartum and I fit in all my pre-pregnancy clothes! I both look and feel great!

Having a PT that is also a midwife meant I could ask her anything at all and she was always there with advice - and being Sophie she would reply almost instantly! We didn’t even really need the weekly one to one check-ins.

Without her I would have been lost. With her I’m in the best shape possible after birth!

Sophie is a fabulous, knowledgeable PT. She really knows her stuff. Being a midwife, she has experience with pregnancy and post birth exercising, which is a big bonus as so many PTs do not understand the trauma a body goes through during the process of childbirth. Sophie works out of a fab fully equipped gym that has good parking facilities. Would recommend 👌

Sophie is fantastic at what she does! I started training with her at eight weeks postpartum and she has helped me to regain my prepregancy body all with home workouts and a calorie deficit. For any mums looking to get back in shape I would definitely recommend Sophie. She knows what she's doing!

I recommend Sophie to all new mums that I meet. Sophie did a Mummy MOT on me 7 weeks post partum with my 2nd. I was worried about birth injury and Sophie did a really thorough assessment in the comfort of my own home, and sent me a month's worth of gentle rehabilitation exercise which made a huge difference to my recovery. Worth every penny for the reassurance and advice!
