I can’t believe the difference in my Mum since living at Ashley Gardens due to Dementia, she is like a new person! Until then, she was so unhappy and tearful most days. The staff, the home, the ambience and the level of care are next to none. It’s lovely for me to finally relax knowing my Mum is now in the best hands. Thanks to Madel and the team.

If you are reading reviews it's because you are about to make an incredibly hard decision about a loved one. My sister and I had to do this last May for our Mother. Due to dementia, an evil disease, she needed 24/7 care. Yes we had tried carer's who visited and a live in. They just weren't the right thing for her. So how do you make that long term decision? Phone calls to start with. Does the person answering that phone give you answers you hadn't even thought to ask? Do they ask you to come and visit, look around meet the staff and residents, watch the activities they do with the residents? Are they friendly towards you? Can you hear the compassion in their words as they talk to you because they understand that you are having to make a life changing choice? Can you tell how good a book is by its cover? Occasionally yes, not always, sometimes it's far better. Do you get what you see? Far more. Are the people really as they seem or is it all a show to impress you? I promise you it's all real as are they. You are absorbed into a huge loving, caring extended family. If I could give 10 stars I would. My Mum genuinely had a wonderful home at Ashley Gardens until the day she passed away. I am and always will be eternally grateful for the love she was given there and extended to include myself. Thank you Madel, Mark, Fatima, Jean, Carla, Monica, in fact everyone in Ashley Gardens, including the staff you don't always see behind the scenes that keep everything running smoothly.
