Do not answer their phone and never call back, always booked extra appointments without notifying me and although the people I have seen in my appointments are good people, they cannot decide if I have type 1 or type 2 (diagnosed in october)

I went for a bone density scan at the Allam Centre at the beginning of June 2024 because in the past few of years I've had three bone breaks.
I broke my wrist the next month.
It is now January 2025 and I have had no result despite it being chased up two or three times. I'm told there is a wait of a year for results. However I know someone who got a result in three weeks despite not having a problem with her bone density.
They're either liars, utterly inefficient, or too profit driven to pay enough staff.
Is this the future of the NHS going towards privatisation?

Have an appointment here soon.

Apponitment letter understandably makes a big deal about not turning up or notifying them if you can't make it. Absolutely right - NHS and patients under huge strain: every single appointment slot counts.

Tried to get in touch three times today. Left holding for 20mins +. Paperwork to get replacement sensors for my Libra FreeStyle not done. So will be without them until I can get through on the phone. Not good at all.
