This practice is complete shambles. Sharing some anecdotes:
1. Not responsive at all. I cannot book an appointment via phone. I was redirected onto the online booking system even when the phone call got through. Then it’s been another 4 months since I last booked online and still no response.
2. Very bad attitude from the reception. They didn’t seem to care at all. Seems it’s just another job for them to have an income. Hello People who need medical attention are reaching out for help here!
3. Last time I successfully booked an appointment, I had recurrent bacterial infection + abnormality in my blood test results. The doctor repeatedly told me to just go home and take antibiotics. I insisted that I got referred to a specialist. In the end I was diagnosed with something more serious from the hospital. Seems not only the reception doesn’t care, there’s also lack of care and possibly competence from the doctor(s)

When a practice is getting lack of staff, the trick is not to sit there and feeling overwhelmed. Maybe try working harder in the time you’re paid to do.
Waiting to see how this practice can get worse. I don’t know how but I have complete confidence in them.

Disgusting my type 1 diabetic wife needs her insulin when asked for it the doctors told her to wait 3 days when she needs it to live and the excuse that was made is if they do her prescription early then they have do it for everyone. So angry with this place we move surgery because of the disrespect and Disgusting behaviour towards people

Happy with the overall service. Staff were polite and helpful. Little surprised by some of the negative reviews here , I have been to clayfarm surgery few times and it's always been a good experience. Yes getting appointments can be hard but that's the same everywhere else too

Attitude from reception sounded very abrupt! Unbelievable she tried to blame it on the line, clearly just has a very bad attitude and was in a hurry and hung up before I'd finished talking! This surgery reception was the best one many years ago but my views of this surgery now with reception staff has changed dramatically to appalling! Need to have customer service training at the least or better still new receptionists!

If I could give a zero then I would.

*Whatever you do please DO NOT register with this practice**

From my first appointment it was clear to me that their culture was rotten; not putting clients first, attitude on front desk, not responding to complaints in a reasonable timeframe.

After refusing to prescribe my medication (which had been prescribed to me by 3 previous GP's and was working for me) the GP, Dr Ali, demonstrated no empathy by making me go cold turkey without offering any substitute or referral until I complained and even then the response was lacklustre at best.

Unless you want to be left FRUSTRATED and LET DOWN, made to feel like YOU'VE DONE SOMETHING WRONG whilst being IGNORED or you like CRYING then I STRONGLY and politely suggest to you that you avoid this group of people and their horrendously poor organisation.

I personally believe in the not too distant future this practice will be under the microscope for substandard performances. That of course is my opinion but we shall wait and see.

In the mean time, if you've just moved into the area and 'signing up with a new Doctor' is on your to do list then please at least think about spending an extra 5-10 mins in the car and driving to another practice. One that will actually care about your wellbeing.

Patient relation advisor (Receptionist) are not helpful and no compassion at all. They are really good at arguing over the phone and hang up. My stress level when talking to them is too high because they insisted what they want and not for the best interest of the patient.

Awful, very rarely answer the phone, and tried to ask for an appointment by turning up, stood there for about five minutes, before anyone spoke, only to be asked to fill in an online form. The receptionist was polite and offered to help me fill it in. I just wanted an appointment!
