This was my first time at the Health Barn. I'd had the pleasure of experiencing one of these flotation pods in New Zealand. So when I found out that the Health Barn had them I was excited, as they are amazing. I get claustrophobic , but do not struggle at all in these pods. I was running late, and was so looking forward to and needing my float session. I found the staff at the Health Barn to be very friendly, calming and understanding. Oliver was great, he has a very calming persona, and gives you clear guidance through everything . The atmosphere here is embracing, calming and caring. I loved being greeted by their precious furbaby ( dog ) as I'm very pro animal. I'd recommend the floatation pod to everyone. It is amazing, it's almost like being embraced in a womb like experience. It takes me about 10 minuets to get rid of
normal neck pain and strain, and then I zone out. It calms your mind and body while the Epsom salts / magnesium treats all your deep set in aches and pains. It's also a great treatment for hair and skin. I will be back when next on holiday in the lakes

A treat to myself which did not disappoint. Oliver chatted through the experience and provides full information necessary to enjoy the experience. Then I was left to experience the flotation tank. First time user, I thought I would have the lid up and lights on. Before the music stopped I had the lid down and lights off and just relaxed in the water. Difficult to explain. If I moved, I knew I was floating in water. If I didn't, I was just floating! The sound of the water if I moved, was at times comforting and at times a distraction. I stayed still and tried to keep my mind focused on breathing. Truly relaxing experience.

Hayley did reflexology on me today. What a lovely experience, so relaxing and interesting. Hayley was a fountain of knowledge, so professional and informative about other treatments I might find beneficial.
I will definitely be back, it's so important to take some time for self-care in our busy lives.

I love everything about the Health Barn from the welcome at reception, to the yoga loft, from the floatation tank to the fantastic therapists. I have had Scar Work; Reflexology; Trig Point Massage; Sports Therapy and Chiropractic and all have been excellent.

Fantastic session with Hayley, this was my 17 year old daughter's first Reiki session - Hayley made her feel at ease from the offset and she came out of the session refreshed as well as reflective. She can't wait to go back.
