I genuinely wish the booking system improved because all doctors and staff are so amazing, but how is that of use if one cannot make an appt? There s two hour window for on the day appointments in the morning, if you don’t make it (the appts get filled quickly too), one leaves it for later, and later still. If you have a few children in the same practice, even if they don’t get I’ll often, you can make arranging appointments your part time job ?. Saying that, once you do manage, the staff and lovely and doctors wonderful.

I’ve been registered with this practice for years, and it’s definitely improved in the last year or so. I tend to request an appointment online, and have always been seen when I needed to, or had a phone appointment if it was suitable. Dr Baxter is such a lovely, friendly doctor who always makes me feel like he genuinely cares. The nurses are all great. I have had quite a few health issues over the years (some ongoing) and I always feel well taken care of here.

I don't usually leave Google reviews but have been with Didsbury medical practice for a couple of years now and I have always been incredibly impressed with their level of service. Today I put in an admin request online, which it states (completely reasonably) that it can take up to 3 days to respond to. They responded with the information 9 minutes later!! I'm honestly astounded. I'm lucky that I have never had to meet my GP face to face but every time I have contacted the surgery online they have been incredibly efficient and very helpful. When I have been in for routine nurse appointments the team have been absolutely lovely. They are hands down the best GP surgery I have ever had, thank you.

Patchy service. The process for getting a GP's appointment is ridiculous - a 7am scramble online with no guarantee of an appointment that day and no ability to book an appointment on any other day. Once you get an appointment, its fine. The building looks like its not been decorated in 20 years - surprisingly rundown. They do support the Patient Access app and that's worked well.

It was usually quite good for getting an appointment when I was a member here, however I had a few issues once I was diagnosed coeliac. Firstly they failed to pass on the message about the official diagnosis after having an endoscopy. I only found out in another appointment about another issue where they said ‘oh, it could be because you’re coeliac, are you still eating gluten?’ This was months later and I presumed the results were negative. Once diagnosed, they also failed to refer me to any coeliac services. I have recently moved to a new practice who did this instantly.

Excellent general practice. Superb medical staff. Serious about prevention as well as cure.
Administration and communications could do with improving.
No lift to consulting rooms on other floors, but probably moving.

One of the most unhelpful surgeries I have had the misfortune to be registered with. I accept rules help the smooth running of a surgery, but on occasions there are exceptions to these. Some of the staff here are most definitely in the wrong job. They're rude and talk to you like you are dim. It's so unnecessary.
This was my 3rd request for help since I registered there nearly 4 years ago, so I'm hardly a regular !!
