I had an exceptional experience at the practice today, which hasn’t always been the case, thanks to the outstanding care provided by Dr. Dunn. His professionalism and integrity set him apart in the way he approaches patient care. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and crafted a thoughtful, comprehensive action plan, all without making me feel rushed. Unlike other doctors at the practice who may treat appointments as mere transactions, Dr. Dunn made me feel genuinely valued and understood. His genuine commitment to my health was evident throughout, leaving me feeling confident and reassured.

Dr. Dunn, thank you for setting the bar high with your compassion and professionalism. Your patient-centered approach not only inspires trust but also exemplifies what compassionate healthcare should truly be.

Unfortunately this practice's performance is disappointing. My blood test was lost and noone followed up on this. Some tests came back abnormal and again no-one informed me about what do they mean and if further action is required. When I submitted a GP request the Dr only told me to do another blood test without answering any of my other questions or addressing my concerns. It is interesting that the Quality Care Comission's review states that the effectiveness of this practice is not as good as others in the area and requires improvement.

Did a patches early as possible very very poorly before 8am blood pressure through roof after anaphylaxis.
12pm they replied and shut my request you need to call for an appointment. So what's the point of the patches system.
They took my child of brain medication and she nearly lost her sight and could have died. She has luckily been put back on her medication at hospital
Prescription taking two weeks.
The only good thing is reception is nice, it's clean.
I really have had to update my review.

Four visits to this reception for an "End of Life" benefit claim form and I was told FOUR different versions
Yes we have the form - call back k in tomorrow when it will be completed.

No we don't have the form, you have to apply for one externally - and the contact details they gave me, was a FAX number

Yes we have the form but we have to send it direct and cant give it to you.

Gets a phone call later the SAME day. The form is ready can I come collect it?

What an absolute palaver. No wonder they missed my mother's terminal cancer diagnosis when they can't even get one simple actionable admin request right?

My mother feels utterly let down by this practice after repeatedly asking for follow-up scans after her episode of bowel cancer a few years back. Now it's too late and inoperable.

Really pleased with this surgery, it’s lovely and modern and very well kept, has pretty good parking and is useful that the pharmacy is attached.

Have had to pay a few visits recently and I’ve always managed to get same day or next day appointments using PATCHS which is great, no more queuing. I like how the system asks appropriate questions and you can even send photos.

Everyone is really friendly, including the receptions which I know there’s a lot of (banter) stigma around GP receptionists, but they do have a hard time and are often at the front line of disgruntled patients! A lady called Jazz in particular has been very friendly!

It's OK but it's not like it was. And it's very difficult to make appointments whether in person on the phone has u need to it online or by patches. Its certainly not progress.
Staff are doing less and less to help the general public. Its hard to sort your prescription out over the phone as they r only from 10am till 2pm

Do not register at this GP. Impossible to get an appointment, The only way to book an appointment is to queue outside of the practice at 8, and if you get lucky you will be given an appointment, if not you should come back the next day.
I am too busy for this highly inefficient system. This practice is a waste of tax payers money.
Finally today registered myself and the rest of the family somewhere else after being told that if your kids need to be seen by a doctor, go to walk in centre. I wonder if the practice is the busy, why every time I go to this GP during the day, it is so quiet with not that many patients around and doctors walking around.
