I must agree with all other comments, since becoming Diamond Medical Group the service has gotten worse. It was always pretty bad to be honest, improved when CQC got involved but has now reverted back. I rang this morning to make an appt for my quarterly B12 injection, told I was 6th in the queue and when I finally got the ring tone, held on for 30mins but no one answered. Will try calling in to practice to make the appt.

The NHS is a shambles and this surgery is a shining example of how useless it is:
- The only way you can book an appointment is by phoning in at 8am or on the Patches online system at 8am. The appointment is issued the same day and they are usually gone before 8:30am. So how does this work for people who are working at 8am or have other commitments? Patches should allow flexibility so you can book an appointment during the week, but it does not and defeats the purpose of having an online appointment system.
- During mid morning or afternoon, the average wait time (on the phone) to speak to someone at the practice is around 40mins. This has become the standard pattern since diamond medical group took over. No one answers the phone and it’s clear they want you to use patches - which is dysfunctional, so what are you supposed to do ? This is not sustainable and needs to be changed to mitigate the risk of patients developing serious illnesses due to failures in these NHS systems and practices.

Sent a message through patches at 8:10. Had a reply by 10:30 with a choice of appointment times the same day. Attended at 11:20, excellent professional level of medical care provided by Dr Mak. Many thanks

The receptionist is very rude and impatient. Asked her a simple question and she just ignored us.

Very redicilously poor service, it seems like a joke how this new management is running the surgery. We never had issues before the merge it's ridiculous how they ask you to call 8 am and then you have to wait for doctors call which could be any time before 3-4 pm. So basically you have to be available to take a phone call or take a day off to book an appointment with your GP.

Had a experience with a Staff Member of Shadwell Medical Centre this afternoon which is now called the (Diamond Medical Group )who insults you under the quiet which I had to tell Staff member off and be quite assertive for their rude assumptions. The Patches system may not be working well and may cost lives due signing up as soon as the booking fill up the system I have been told cuts off.

And should I need any assistance I have to go to the other side of Leeds Burmantofts. I am not a Burmantofts resident I live in Shadwell. They do realise because they were unable to perform certain duties thanks to the findings of the Care Quality Commission findings of being inadequate is the reason why they have gone through a merger. I have always had the best care from Shadwell Medical Centre a few Hiccups which were made right but I do feel new training for staff who can't be bothered to do their job effectively and help resolve patients issues need to find new jobs if they find it hard to co operate with patients.

I feel its time to look into private health care just as I have had to do with Dentistry. The NHS will suffer even further due to issues with Doctor Surgery Staff who are are not will to provide good service.

Prior to the merger with other practices and being re-branded I could call the line and speak to someone for an appointment. I could use Patchs also. Now, I can get to the IVR menu before being cut off, many times over. Patchs has reached its safe working limit.

I don't know about the other practices, but as a patient of Shadwell I can confirm that the experience is significantly poorer now than it was pre-merger.

Whoever is responsible for the operations element of running this new group should start to share their improvement plans and implementation timescales with patients so that we can have confidence that things are going to get better.

Patchs system is appalling. U cannot do wat it says which is book appointments online. All u can do is send a messsge its supposed to be open til 6 but closes usually half an hour after it opens. Once the few appointments are gone u cannot leave a message. Its enough to make u feel worse than u already do. Shadwell says they cannot book appointments on phone but rutland lodge
say different
The whole thing is a shambles very worrying and frustrating
