Lovely doctors and receptionist but I'm very let down, my step son has been having seizures since before Christmas and has been in and out of hospital been waiting for tests. He is 4 years old and we are getting told by the gp to just keep going to hospital when he has seizures (they happen every day) the hospital say not to go as there is nothing they can do till the tests are done but the gp say to keep going to the hospital. I am very disappointed in the nhs and how they lack any care for a child who has randomly started having seizures they say its either his heart or his brain that's causing this and yet no one seems to care its disgusting. No advise given when I asked for help of the gp and no help with my step son who has been very low in mood after having these seizures.

From 5th to 1st in the telephone queue for it to then ring for ages and nobody pick up! This surgery had declined rapidly over the years and I can't even get an appointment to see a GP.. maybe if I was a refugee I would be seen instantly... poor service i will be changing to another surgery.

This practice cares little about patients - the last time I was there the gp told me there was no time to discuss my copd and refused to accept the medications they were prescribing had zero effect.
Staff are rude and treat patients as imbeciles
The only thing they seem to care about is meeting gov targets for flu jabs etc
I want to be treated with respect and for the condition I have NOT those I don't!

Avoid this surgery at all costs. I have been with this GP all my life and have seen a rapid decline in quality of care over the past few years. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment, you will be faced with GPs who do not care about your wellbeing and I’ve personally experienced them lying on my medical records. They are stretched, angry and take no time to listen to anything you have to say. Everything is simply a tick box exercise, with no consideration for your medical history and severity of issues. The surgery is not in an affluent area, so they treat everybody as if they are a junkie looking for their next fix. They sometimes offer dangerous advice and medication without properly reading your medical notes and explaining the consequence. Most of the GPs are fresh out of medical school and need to refer to senior GPs for practically everything. They will take months to respond if you dare to make a complaint, often with a short sharp response in fear of saying the wrong thing. The entire set up is frustrating and geared towards hitting targets rather than providing quality care for their patients. The only good thing I have to say about this place is the kindness of one or two of the reception / admin staff who show more compassion and understanding than ANY of the GPs put together. Absolutely horrific place!

The 8am system to book appointments for that same day is absolutely ridiculous and is not workable at all for anyone who has a job. No idea who decided this was the way forward but it's not.

If I want an appointment for something I want to know I can book one for a time that suits me and so I can arrange time off at work accordingly.

They seem happy to withhold my asthma medication if I haven't had a review though and those are bookable with a nurse in advance so why doesn't thed same apply to doctors?

How the hell do u not take bookings over the phone? How does it take over a week to get a prescription sorted for a child? Signed up based on good reviews & you’re absolutely shockingly rubbish.

It is becoming more and more difficult to get any appointment here.
I decided that I wanted to quit smoking on the 1/10/22, called into the surgery on Friday the 30/09/22 to try to get a prescription to assist me. I was told I needed to speak to a Doctor but the next available appointment would not be until 28/10/22, that is just a telephone appointment. I was then told to ring in on Monday Morning at 8.00 am. I did this at exactly 8.00 only to be told that I was number 13 in the queque. So my wife went into the surgery today @ 8.00 to be told that all phone appointment had gone for today and told to come in tomorrow.
Can somebody please let me know do any Doctors work in this surgery and if they do what hours do they work?
I am really disappointed with the level of service being provided from the surgery at the moment, bearing in mind that I am trying to do something the the Nurse's have trying to get me to do for years.
I would like a response to this review and not just an automatic reply. just so I know that somebody does work there.
Keith Connolly.
