WORST SURGERY EVER!!
after my blood test they recommended me to take Vitamin D 20000 IU and when i checked on back of medicine it says “not recommended during pregnancy “
Then i rang them back to ask them I would like to ask my doctor or midwife regarding this and they didnt put me through. Receptionist was keep saying i need an appointment.
Then day after called them again in the morning after few minutes appointments was gone and receptionist told me i can only put you through nurse practitioner for advice
And then he told me i shouldnt be taken this VITA D 20000 IU because its toxin and harmful to the baby and they told me “we apologies its been mistake”
They also prescribed me other wrong medicines which i didnt need them.

I've been with this surgery for over 30 years and have had mixed service. However I feel the need to leave a review this evening, as people are very quick to complain. I like to give positive reviews when I get great service. I came in at 7pm 20/3/24 to see the nurse for my smear test, not something I ever look forward to.. The nurse I saw was amazing, she put me at ease straight away. She was so friendly and made a embarrassing situation 100× better. She is a credit to your surgery and to the NHS. I hope the next time I have to have this test I get her or someone just as lovely. Please thank her for me.

Recently joined as a new patient to the surgery. I had an initial appointment with Dr Mahajan and a few weeks later I was given a minor operation appointment with Dr Periris assisted by Nurse Sue who were great and make me feel very at ease. I’m impressed with the friendliness, cleanliness and professionalism of all the staff. Thank you Village Surgery

Got an appointment at 9.05am after calling at 8am, top marks for that however then waited 40 minutes to see the doctor. I appreciate the doctors are busy but they have to appreciate so are we. I've just come off a night shift , I should of been 2 hours into sleep . A bit of notice that appointments were running so behind would of been appreciated

The worst experience ever. Submitted application forms for a family of 5 to register with this GP more than 2 months ago. Made a follow up today since we have had no communication from them only to be told that our application forms were shredded. I feel like we have been unfairly treated. You could have just told us that you were not accepting new patients or you are not accepting patients of colour instead of wasting our time.

This GP surgery is honestly a ray of hope for me. I moved here from another surgery, and I have to say my experience of the Village Surgery has been fantastic. I have no doubt they are stretched to the limit as all GPs are in this present climate, however this surgery goes above and beyond for it's patients. I have never waited more than 5 minutes on the phone and there is no engaged tone, you always get into the queue and never wait long. The receptionists are a pleasure to talk to, very helpful and calm people who must be working under immense pressures. GP and nurse have been very helpful with my recent issues, I honestly can't thank this surgery enough. Please remember that if your appointment runs a bit late over the scheduled time, it is likely because they have had to spend more time with some patients who may be in urgent need. Your wait would be up to or over ten hours in A&E. I really do not understand people who get cross with receptionists etc, they're doing a really difficult job in unprecedented times. Village surgery shows the true values of the NHS, and is an asset to the local area. Thank you. Cheryl.
