"There seems to be some mistake with my FitNote!" someone had got their dates incorrect. The Receptionist was extremely polite, well spoken and professional and sorted the discrepancy within minutes.
A very busy Doctors Surgery with an attached Pharmacy. As you can see from the attached photographs and video you can have your prescription discharged with a 10 minute wait.
Plenty of disabled friendly parking but sometimes the Surgery can become so busy its difficult to secure a parking space. Adjacent streets can be full of cars as well so if you happen to live nearby just walk. Good exercise!

There is no appointment at anytime. They always want me to go to urgent care. I've been to urgent care for myself and for my family many times. Urgent Care is asking me why GP is sending people to urgent care as they have limited treatment facilities. It's better to call 111 or 999 rather than coming there to book an appointment. Gp is always playing football, like passing the ball to somebody. I have been to the GP before with my cough, and I am worried that I may choke. An x-ray was taken in August, and there was no issue with that, but I still have a cough. If I choke and die, my GP will be responsible for that because I am not getting any appointments. I was emotional, and my voice was raised in the reception. That's because there is no appointment and my situation. You will know this if you have the feeling of choking at anytime.

I was at the Lister House Oakwood surgery today. I am a late substitute for a holiday that takes place in 3 weeks time. The receptionist refused to try to find out what injections I required nor would she see if it was possible for an early appointment to get the jabs. All I was told was that I needed to go privately. I wasn't the only person to experience the awful service from this surgery. A woman in front of me was in considerable distress yet the receptionist just kept telling her to try to book an appointment at 08.00 the following day. This, by the way, taking place in a surgery with an empty waiting room.

I recently visited my GP surgery regarding a loss of sensation in my right leg. I was off work on Monday but didn't get an appointment until Thursday, which was frustrating. I felt like I was going round in circles because the urgent care centre told me to go to my GP for a blood test, which can show the cause of the problem. Now, I have to go back to the urgent care centre for my blood test to address the same issue. I had to book my blood test using an online system called "Swift queue". I have managed to book a blood test exactly a month after my appointment. The waiting times are often long, and while the staff are generally friendly, I feel that the overall service could use improvement. Given my experience, I would rate this surgery 2 stars.

Gone down the pan - tried calling again using an auto dialler and we q 4 you app, 60 attempts! 5 seconds in between attempts got through 3 times starting 8 am on the dot pressed option 1 for appointments 8:02 am this morning, the message said they are busy and and to try later. There is no way they have anyon answering the calls at 8 am this is disgusting and people pay taxes to receive this treatment no wonder people stop calling and just turn up to the surgery.

You do see the receptionist at all sites sitting there yakking amongst themselves. They ought to go on formal college course on how to run reception as I have done. Answer the call within 3 rings and be courteous and swift. Welcome to the 3rd world NHS service, standards have slipped massively, do they even have supervisors keeping everything running!

This is the SIXTH day of calling in the morning trying to book an appointment to see a GP. The previous 5 days I was unable to even be connected to be put into the queue. I understand everywhere is very busy but it is a bit ridiculous to be expected to call dozens of times (29 attempts today which is actually quite low) to try to join the queue and today when I finally managed, there were of course, no appointments left.

How is this suitable for elderly or vulnerable patients?! My friend in her early 90s has given up and doesn't try to contact the surgery because of the extreme difficulties presented which is obviously detrimental to her health.

E-Consult was down and when it was available it told me to contact the surgery. My issue is not suitable for A&E or Urgent Care. What am I supposed to do? Just sit here hoping whatever it is goes away (Hint:, It won't) or hope it worsens to the point I can be seen as an urgent case?

Is happening this every single time so a bit weird ha?
And also NEVER but NEVER they dosen’t have appointments available!!!!! When I want someone to see my child,NEVER they have anyone available. They dosen’t even bother to help with it.They send me to the hospital or anywhere else straight away. This is the worst GP ever! Never there when you need it!
