My Mum has recently spent 2 weeks at York House and I cant praise them enough the manager was very helpful with our particar issues. The home has a lovely atmosphere and is very well ran. The staff are friendly and York House has an overall feeling of a family home. Very clean, food looks lovely. Very much recommend.

Visited my mother today and had our first experience of the Service York House provides. The catering leaves a lot to be desired. A member of the kitchen staff came into the room somewhat shoddily dressed in a tatty butchers apron (no PPE)to say that both items chosen were not available. The replacement items were not as agreed I.e the vegetable soup was tomato and the sponge and custard was just custard.a typical day apparently.
