I had the most wonderful time this autumn at The Enchanted Glade. When I arrived the sauna and the hot tub in the forest were already heated and I immediately started to relax. This is a totally different world just 45 minutes by train outside of London. Looking at the trees, listening to the birds and having a hot outside shower surrounded by forest was more relaxing than any hotel spa could ever be. This is a place where you can feel all the love that Maria and her team have put into everything. From the decoration of the cabins to the garlands of lights in the trees. If you sit very still in the hot tub you can even see deer in the forest. Also loved sleeping in the Quirky Cabin warmed by the fire in the little stove. Haven't slept that deeply in ages! Definitely recommend coming here!

Top people, lovely family run business. Love the land, services, and all experiences there. From women's days to spa days, events, etc... Love hot tubbing under the trees and the cold ice plunge along side the sauna hut. Maria & Lilo ensure a top experience with every detail. 🌺

Myself and my husband married here on 14/09/24 and I cannot of imagined a more beautiful or poignant place for us to do so. We hired the location from Friday to Monday and had a wonderful weekend celebration.

There were plenty of beauty spots for photos as you will see *Curtesy of @NinaSarfasPhotography. Including some really unique aspects such as the bathtub!

Accommodation

There was plenty of quirky accommodation such as the themed bell tents and cabins, which meant many of our guests from family to friends could stay on site. The mini kitchenette was a great addition, allowing guests to store and cook some of their own food. Bacon butties the morning after the weeding were a great addition from an old friend! The units had power sockets, fridges and a stove in most, however some sockets were lacking power, but the beauty of this place is to escape technology so was not a big issue!

Staff

Their on site staff were amazing and provided answers to our questions without them feeling overly present. On the Sunday I had an issue with a bee sting, which the on site staff gladly helped with. They had anti histamines and an epi pen on hand in case we needed (which thankfully we didn't!)

Sauna/Spa

The sauna and hot tub was so relaxing to have the evening before the wedding and on the Sunday following. We had a very DIY affair for the wedding so it was great to be able to thank our nearest friends and family who helped put so much into our day by having this. The most relaxing feeling was the hot tub at night amongst the trees. They are all naturally wood powered, so you really feel part of nature.

Communication

There were a few issues with communication, but I understand this is partly down to Maria having a busy summer schedule working festivals and us planning the wedding in three months!! Do bear in mind when booking.

Bridal Blessing

We paid a little extra to have a bridal blessing the night before the wedding with Maria. This was a really nice moment to stop amongst all the set up and have a quiet moment with my most loved women. I really appreciated that stillness. We also got to take some beautiful photos amongst the forest, but unfortunately there has been a delay in receiving these, but I understand I will be sent them shortly.

Wedding Venue?

This is truly a unique venue for a wedding. I know Maria is getting alternative venue for 2025, but I'm sure wherever they find will be just as beautiful l and she will add her own touch to. We have had nothing but positive feedback from our friends and family who found the wedding to be incredibly unique and beautiful;. It allowed space for us to have lawn games in keeping with theme and venue. The marquee they had on site was also perfectly fine to seat at least 50 (our guest count was just under 60 and fitted fine). We bought an extra marquee as I worried people would not fit, but ended up using this as a separate lounge area.

Highly recommend whether for a weekend break or a wedding. Can't wait to see the bridal blessing photos! Thanks again to all the team.

Exactly what we wanted for a beautiful couple days away! We stayed in Gypsy Wagon, enjoyed the log burning stove and the functional kitchen inside. Thanks so much to Ash, Lillo and Maria for a perfect getaway ❤️

A magical eve!
I went with a few friends to the opening Wild Spa eve with Dan Waples playing the hang. The sauna was deliciously hot, the music sublime, the atmosphere gorgeous and the hot tub companions a total hoot! Just too good! Thank you to Lillo for being so 'on it' keeping the sauna and hot tub hot!
A wonderful place tucked in the woods, will def be back x

I have been to the Enchanted Glade as a guest and as assistant during a retreat and both times I have been warmly welcomed and inspired by the people, the land and the atmosphere.

Stole £200 - DO NOT trust this business. Small amount of good reviews must be from friends/family.

I booked this experience to treat my friend who had been unwell to have a relaxing time - dealing with this business and the rude owner has been anything but relaxing. We initially asked if we could rebook another date as my friend was unwell but would come if this wasn’t possible. The owner assured us we could transfer tickets and gave no timeline. She made it impossible to rebook and then they closed for the winter. We have tried to rebook now and have had 2 weeks of messages back and forth, being ignored, called a liar despite sending screen shots (on multiple occasions) to the owner to prove her own words. My messages have been ignored and she has since refused to uphold her offer - pocketing our £200!!! On top of this the owner is extremely rude and insinuated that my currently being on holiday meant I can afford to loose the money which I found deeply upsetting as no one can know someone else’s financial situation and is a line that should absolutely not be crossed.

I am sure the business owner will come up with some twisted story to justify not honouring her own word to protect herself, but there is no justification for pocketing people’s money and providing an unprofessional, dishonest and at times offensive service. She used a family death as an excuse for her behaviour and we have since now seen other Facebook reviews where she has done exactly the same thing at various points in the past - we have all lost people, to use family deaths to treat people badly is sickening. An absolute disgrace, I have never had such bad treatment from a business DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR MONEY!
