I had a lovely visit to Thames View on their open day. Such a stunning building (inside and out) with grounds that back onto the river. Really welcoming and friendly staff who are clearly passionate about what they do. After my tour I even got to take in their gardens with some coffee and cake!

Caring care staff, conscientious Concierge, happy housekeepers. Amazing team work makes Thames View the wonderful home that it is. I wouldn't think twice about Thames View for a loved ones care. Nothing is too much trouble for any resident or family member. Every task and request is fulfilled with a smile on all of the staffs faces.
Genuine care is hard to find nowadays and myself and all the family feel very blessed and grateful to have been able to place a loved one in not only luxury but such a caring environment.
To be able to leave our loved one without having a doubt or worry when we aren't there is absolutely priceless.

A huge heart-felt thank you to everyone at Thames View, you truly made a sad situation the happiest it could have possibly been.

Definitely a Home of Compassion

Our elderly friend lived at the Home of Compassion (now Thames View) for the last eighteen months of her life.
She suffered from vascular dementia, and so had short term memory loss and had mobility problems. However, she enjoyed singing, concerts, arts and crafts and all the other activities that the home had to offer. She was well looked after by the nursing staff, who are experienced and genuinely caring, until her life ended there, peacefully and in comfort.
I cannot praise the home and its staff highly enough. The nursing team were always kind, friendly and welcoming; the activities team imaginative, understanding and unfailingly delightful.
I believe that the Home of Compassion offered the best possible environment to an old lady in declining health. I thank everyone there for their dedication and care.

I have visited the Home of Compassion on several occasions to visit and treat some residents/patients. The staff are always welcoming and professional and assist me when necessary. The home is beautifully furnished and spacious creating a homely, peaceful atmosphere.

Went to visit this carehome's wellbeing team as they arranged an end of summer party- residents and family were treated to music, dance and afternoon tea. I was amazed at the therapeutic activities on offer, the Dementia wing and all the caring staff. All residents I spoke to were happy and seemed very well looked after.
