First time at Portland house vets with our elderly husky dog, having used other large group vets and not getting a professional service.I must say that the staff and the vet that examined him were excellent in every way from examination and care, thank you for taking your time getting to know blaze and fussing him to keep him calm can't thank you enough.

Portland House vets their team such a great empathetic professional veterinary practice we had cause to use them a lot recently and they did all they could in our last weeks with our pooch Benjy the young vet was so kind at the end and understanding - so a big thank you to all. I am only rating them 2 stars because the vets who treated my pig were friendly and kind.
The bill arrived, I was charged £244.88 pence for driving 16.8 miles, from Retford to Saundby. This excluded the examination fee and the cost of the meds.
This is day light robbery? How can this be justified. I will not be using them again and I will not refer them to anyone.

Excellent service. The staff really care about their patients and take the time and effort to explain options for the treatment and welfare of animals.
The reception staff are really friendly and efficient (Karen at Ollerton is a particular star).
I would highly recommend Portland House to anyone.
