Fundamentally unable to access basic services.

Almost impossible to book an appointment. Almost impossible to even speak to reception on the phone even at non peak times.

I have absolutely zero faith in the NHS at this surgery to provide basic care.

Always a positive experience at this practice and the team have their hearts in exactly the right place. I called up late on a Friday when my baby's temperature suddenly spiked and they got us an urgent appointment within 30 minutes. Dr Kim and another person kindly and graciously stayed behind to see us after hours. We're so grateful.

Regarding long waiting times: this is a systemic problem with the NHS/UK as a whole; it's nothing that the practice can help. I think Eastville medical is handling these hard times very well.

I haven't actually seen a doctor as yet, I changed to this practice recently because it was nearer to my home. Having visited the practice to do so, i was informed that I had to fill in forms and provide a passport style photo, so went away and came back a few days later with said photo and forms.I waited confirmation of my registration. Once registered with the doctor of my choice (which I had heard good things about) i tried to book an appointment with said doctor, but was informed that this doctor is only in practice a couple of hour for one day a week and is always booked up! I was also informed that I can only book an appointment on a daily basis for same day attendance! And would have to do so early mornings, but the wait to get through is so high, it's impossible to do so. I was then told I could book online for more chance of getting an appointment! But if I wanted to book online, Id have to bring in another passport photo to register and fill more forms, I wondered why I couldn't have been told all this when I initially enquired about joining this practice! I've now been on hold for 36 minutes waiting to get through to the surgery, only to be told that the practice booking system is being overhauled and I still could not book an appointment; but if I wait until Monday next week, then there will be some advance bookings available in the new system. I do hope so, because not everyone can attend same day appointments or sit on the phone for 35 minutes with no result at the end of it! I'm concerned as the practice is merging with another practice, booking may become even more difficult! Meanwhile... Watch this space for an updates start rating!

I don't know why I re signed up to this surgery, they have to be the most useless GP surgery in Bristol. Booked doctor phonecalls where the doctor just doesn't bother calling, every time I try to call through to reception I end up stuck waiting in a queue for about an hour listening to the most irritating hold music ever. When I request a fit note for 3 months due to ongoing health conditions, they only issue it for 2 weeks because I'm due a "Health Review" and then don't bother calling. I'm furious at how bad the service is. Don't bother registering here, find somewhere else because I guarantee it's better than here!

Worst service that I have received in the last 3 years. They were better as two different surgeries. Appreciate that the whole NHS is under staffed but this surgery does not have good processes. It takes an hour to get to the reception for 'urgent calls' and then they suggest to go to minor injuries or a pharmacy with my 6 years old to wait for hours instead of my surgery booking me a 10 minutes slot. Everything else has to be on phone or online but for the feedback/complaints procedure you have to come into the surgery to pick a form.

Absolutely maddening trying to book and have an appointment with this GP and really has been the poorest service I've experienced in my life being with this particular GP surgery.
Most recent frustration is them failing to bother to even let me know blood test results and then spending days trying to reach them on the phone to get these and then simply wanting another suggested test done....then not being able to get an appointment for ages after being told I need yet another appointment to discuss booking it in (despite my symptoms being all ongoing and the same issues... so seems like extra steps to do this, instead of simply booking the test!), then being told it can only be on phone for an appointment.
Get to the day and suprise suprise, no calls but some voicemail that came through later thanks to living in an area of Bristol with unreliable signal (which I'm sure the doctors must take into account). Instead of trying again later in thr day I am told to call them if I still need an appointment and wish to book a new one! Absolutely wanting to bash my head against a wall with frustration.
So back to square one of trying to have to call them and get gold of them to rebook an appointment I never got rhe chance to have properly... twice been on hold for about 30 mins before rhe annoying music goes to ringing for ages and then just cuts off. Great! So I'll now spend more hours of my life wasted on the hold trying to reach you for booking this because the online services doesn't allow me to either.
Woefully poor service!

Reception lady was very blunt didn't even asked me what my problem and issue is, no guidance nothing available. I am trying to contact the practice from past 3 days and I am not getting through, at last when I able to speak with reception after 3 days of consecutive try call ended with just saying me that call tomorrow morning 8:30 which wasn't helpful at all. she didn't even asked my name, my problem nothing at all. I don't know if she was been told to do so as practice is struggling if that is the case then I would like to know is that emergency centre(where I only call in the morning to get appointment) or my regular GP practice.

Worse practise every guys. I booked my child appointment early and I arrived 10 mins early for my appointment. Yet again I had to wait with my sick child over 2 hours to see the doctor because the doctor was running late. That outrageous. Patients , especially pregnant ladies and children gets treated so badly in this practise. I would advise you to avoid joining here. This has repeated several times. Doctors running extremely late!!!
