We stayed in the belle tent which overall was a lovely stay. However, upon arriving there was no one to greet us, after waiting outside and looking around for 20 mins we were approached by the mother of the owner who informed us that the owner was out - not a great start with the high cost per night.
Our stay was comfortable in the accommodation after that. Had a nice meditation session. Booked for a couple's massage and yet when we arrived for it we were given a couple's yoga session with no explanation (I'm very introverted so didn't want to say anything).
After arriving home I realised I'd left some clothes in the tent so contacted Vitoria the owner to try and organise getting them back but we never had a response.
I've given 2 stars because the tent was nice but it ends there.

The most serene little getaway! Glowing hospitality.

Everyone we had the pleasure of meeting was so welcoming and friendly. Vittoria - our host, was extremely accommodating, how to use everything was very clearly explained upon arrival, although she was always at the end of the phone if we needed her for absolutely anything.

The location was stunning too, in the middle of nature, a short walk from a lake/dam but also not too far from a supermarket. Don't forget your dressing gowns for the hot tub or sitting in the hammock among the fairy lights.

Don't hesitate to book a stay here, we will definitely be returning in the future!

My daughters and I spent three beautiful days at the soul simple retreat. We stayed in the Nature Gem . A wonderful private lodge beautifully decorated and furnished with its own private tree shower and hot tub . Set in lovely grounds . So peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed an energy shift with Vittoria who is so warm and friendly and then reflexology. The whole experience was wonderful. We hope to return. Thank you to Vittoria and the team for making us so welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at the SoulSimple retreat, sleeping in the log cabin for 2 nights. Our host was very welcoming and accommodating, allowing us space to hide away but on hand to help when needed. A whole lot of positive energy and love has been put into gorgeous hideaway meaning we felt completely relaxed and revitalised from our stay. The hot tub and outside shower were fantastic and the kitchen is very well equipped too. We have already secured a stay for next year and will 100% be recommending to others.

I was fortunate enough to have stayed at this amazing venue whilst helping to deliver our Gentle Release Therapy Practitioner Retreat. The standard of accommodation is amazing, so beautifully laid out and impeccably clean. As the retreat cook, I would like to say how much I enjoyed working, cooking, creating and delivering in that fabulous kitchen. As a cook all my needs were met, it is the most incredible kitchen to dance around, I was truly in heaven. My room/apartment was over the garage, again so clean and tastefully decorated, hats off to the owners. The main house is just superb, everything about it oozes calmness and healing, a very special place indeed with incredible energy.
The yoga space is so calming, it just soothes your soul, encourages stillness and invites healing.
I would not hesitate to return to this amazing property. It really is a jewel and I trust you will enjoy your experience as much as I did.

The place, it was nice BUT it smelt of dog, which the owner does have one, so bad that I had to spray my perfume aroud to get rid of the smell. This place was not cheap, £600 just for 3 nights but there was so many rules that you had to follow, like no music to be played/heard only from 11am till 11pm but she heard noise around 4pm and came straight over to complain this is not what i expect from somewhere your paying to call your home for the next 3 nights. I have dark olive skin and once the host saw me she soon sent me a voice message saying ' I hope you have read the rules as I am afraid people with fake tan cannot use the hot tub and if they do there is a cost of £600 for any damages done to tub ' I found her voice message so condescending as this is my natural colour . I wrote and asked for an apology and I gave the host time to respond , but her attitude was I dont care and I wont apologise. Therefore I would not recommend this place as the owners attitude towards the colour my olive skin was disgusting.

What a beautiful space! I love teaching my yoga classes and running deeply healing yoga retreats here. Soul Simple feels like my second home. I always get comments from my students and retreat participants about how comfortable and luxurious Soul Simple is. Victoria and Dave are such welcoming hosts and the environment is just absolutely perfect to rest, relax and rejuvenate!
