We are on holiday (from Yorkshire) and our 7 year old son had developed a nasty cough. We were recommended by the pharmacist to go here and the care that we received was outstanding, the wait was even more outstanding. We were there only 10 mins and he got treated and prescribed antibiotics for a chest infection. The place was immaculate and the staff was so professional and caring. If only we had this kind of treatment in Yorkshire the people who live local are so privileged to have such a fantastic hospital. Thank you so much for all your help today much appreciated.

Very little waiting time. All the girls from receptionist, Marie the nurse, then especially Elizabeth who was very calming and chatted away while getting on helping my wife. She gave us very good advice.

Had an ear infection whilst on holiday in Keswick. Attended Mary Hewetson Cottage Hospital Urgent Treatment Centre & was booked in, seen by a nurse practitioner within 10 mins & prescribed an antibiotic ear spray. All staff friendly & helpful. Also, no mention of having to book an appointment first via 111, which I hadn’t done.

Wow! What an amazing facility!
A member of our group had a large knee graze that became infected. We walked in to the hospital and were met by Sheila on reception. She was very friendly efficiently took details.
We were seen by Advanced Emergency Practitioner and prescriber Hayley who quickly assessed, cleaned and dressed the wound. We left with a prescription for antibiotics and safety net advice to return if there were any further problems.
An amazing, kind and professional service from start to finish. Thank you. ☺️

Had to visit after taking a tumble on Scafell Pike and splitting my head open on a rock! Receptionist got me booked in, hospital was very clean and tidy. After a short wait the nurse, Abi, got me patched up. Abi was excellent and talked me through everything she was doing to put me at ease so just wanted to say what a wonderful job she did. Nobody expects to have to go to hospital on holiday but the staff here made it a pleasant experience. Thank you for your help!
