Im writing on behalf of my mom whos not on the internet. This surgery is atrocious and the staff are beyond incompetent especially claire and hannah. They are the rudest people i have ever encountered. They always show horrible attitude. The surgery Never have prescriptions on time, leave my mom without medication and always blame the pharmacy. The pharmacy on the other hand are amazing and always having to pick up the slack from the surgery. They are always willing to help and i dont know what i wud do without those kind souls.

I’ve been with this surgery for 28 years and I’ve had ok experiences and bad experiences. There has been mistake after mistake and I really don’t like to complain because we all make mistakes but sometimes it gets to me. My grandson is joining the army and the army paid for a 48 hour turn around of his medical records.. After a couple of visits to the surgery to find out what was going on my grand was told they had been sent ( this is after 3 1/2 weeks ) it wasn’t the truth they hadn’t been done. I had to insist on seeing the practice manager who made sure it was done. I wasn’t at all rude or impatient, just frustrated. Eventually the army received his medical records after 6 weeks. It’s really not good enough. It’s not the first time my family and I have been let down. In fact I’ve lost count of the times.Today I called to make an appointment for my 9 year old grandson who saw a doctor last week but was still poorly. The doctor had said if he’s not better in a week call back and I’ll prescribe antibiotics. So eventually I spoke to a receptionist and explained and she asked if I wanted a face to face or a telephone consultation. I asked for a telephone consultation because he was really poorly and it would be easier. I made sure that they called my number because my grandsons mom was working. Well I never got a call but my daughter did get a text to say that we’d missed the appointment, so I went in to speak to a receptionist. We don’t do telephone consultations for children. Arghh…. I didn’t know that and the receptionist that I spoke to didn’t either and some how it was made into a face to face appointment without telling me. “ I’ll make a note of it “ I was told. I had to walk away because yes I was annoyed and I didn’t want to speak out of turn. It’s the most frustrating place I’ve ever come across and I’m not the only one who thinks it.

I've been a patient at this practice for two years and haven't had any nasty interactions with staff as some people have outlined below. I have, however, witnessed other patients being extremely rude and impatient with the reception team. I can imagine that it's a very difficult job to have! Each reception staff I've encountered has been kind and respectful.

In regard to the running of this doctor's surgery, I've found it difficult to make appointments in the past as the phone lines are so unbelievably clogged in the morning. It is also impossible to make appointments in person for any other day than the one you call on; as a teacher, this makes life unreasonably difficult as I can't get covered without 24 hours notice. I understand pandemic stressors, but the public should be able to forward plan appointments as a bare minimum, in my opinion.

There have also been times that the doctors are slow to action prescriptions. However, every time I go to see somebody, it's always a locum doctor without specific ties to the surgery, so I'm not surprised.

The actual building is clean and tidy, if a little dated and tired. Aren't we all though?

Overall, it's not a bad doctor's surgery. It's also a 3 minute walk for me, so it was very convenient.

I moved to the area 2 years ago. My previous GP surgery was very poor and placed in special measures.
On the few times I have needed an appointment, the Greens Surgery has given either a phone or face to face consultation
The staff and GPs have all been welcoming and professional
In a time where NHS is on its knees, I say Well Done

Fanstatic help today with my 11 year son with his asthma today. The lady on the phone listened to what I was saying and helped me get an appointment. Thank god she did he needed antibiotics, steroids and his inhaler increased. Thank you to the Reception lady and the doctor who again listened to my concerns and issued the correct meds and booked us back in for a follow up appointment. Thank you for your help today.

Have had issues with prescriptions from hospital handed in at reception, nearly 3 weeks before i got it! Have had numerous promises of a call back from reception whilst they look into thing regarding test results that dissappear and from practice manager regarding referrals made months ago that hospital claim to have not received but none of them ever call back, im looking for a new doctors as i dont know if these problems arise from having too many patients or incompetence at every level!
