I like that it's spacious, I like that they play nice music. The downside of it is that you can't go anytime you want, only certain hours. I wish it was cleaner in the lockers and shower area, and maybe a good way to do that is have people use flip-flops everywhere they walk inside. In the reception/waiting area, it smells a bit from the toilets near.
But the atmosphere is relaxed, and I never felt embarrassed.

Whilst we didn't go in the leisure centre itself, I am sure it is a wonderful place we did visit the cafe and Oh dear what a disappointment, the staff were very ignorant and certainly lacked any social skills, the food was mediocre and overpriced. Would we go there again, a resounding NO. However, others may like it.

Arrived this morning. 2 petrol cars in the EV only sports so couldn't charge my car. Needs better enforcement. Very disappointing.

The refurbished leisure centre is fantastic. Shame there are no baby changing facilities in the main changing area. Once car park and cafe are open it will be a lot better.

First time here since refurbishment finished and must say it's very nice inside and in the carpark. Lovely hot showers and very clean xx

Askern Leisure Centre is a very good location if you wish to swim or practice canoeing, there is plenty of parking a pool,gym and some lovely staff the pool is in good condition but just like most other DCLT locations it is beginning to show it’s age.The changing rooms are kept in good condition with warm showers toilets and lots of storage lockers. Overall I am going to issue 4 stars, 5 if it is touched up with a bit of paint.
