Cancel your appointments and then act like it’s your fault they’re cancelling. They apparently also think nobody works and can just attend another appointment at any time and you have to work around them and zero flexibility. Honestly Cirencester Health Group has gone from worse to worse over the years and clearly have zero care for patients.not the first problem I’ve had with them and unfortunately given no other choice of doctors surgery probably won’t be the last.

Painful ear infection, I rang up for an appointment and one set over phone 2 hours later. Through that I got a same day appointment at hospital to have my ear checked out. Very pleased with the speed and everyone I spoke to was helpful and knowledgeable.

Tried to make an appointment (albeit a telephone one in the first instance) for my daughter. Had to explain the symptoms to the receptionist - would like to know what medical qualifications she has in order to evaluate the condition ? I, like the majority of people, don’t request an appointment on a whim only when required, so really do not appreciate having to explain a personal matter to a receptionist before she effectively blocks my request.

I rang the surgery early Thursday afternoon, explained my condition, advised to complete e consult, near completion e consult flashed red advising me to seek medical advice. I rang the surgery and a lovely, professional receptionist arranged call back from duty Dr. There was not a long wait, Dr listened carefully, asked several questions and issued an electronic prescription. I have always found this surgery (I am registered at The Avenue very helpful, polite, skilled and reassuring. Thank you all for your hard work

Reception staff excellent. Was accompanying my 86 yr old mother to an appointment with the nurse. Appointment was arranged for midday; we arrived at 11.50am and were not seen until 12.40. It was painfully apparent that the nurse had not read the notes on my mother, as she was unaware that my mother had been discharged from G.W.R. the day before after a seven day spell suffering from pneumonia (I had confirmed with reception before we went in that the discharge letter had been received and logged).

Fantastic....I contacted the surgery fairly late on New Years Eve regarding our elderly mother. The duty Dr came out almost immediately to take bloods and issue meds. Could not fault the service we received.

Shocking phone service. Listened to music for 25 minutes before hanging up in frustration. This was a Friday afternoon, hardly a busy time, and I just wanted to make appointment for a flu jab.
There must be a better system that this.

Was not able to contact by phone got to caller number one three times but was not answered in over an hour i called around to try to make appointment i asked about poor phone service receptionist was very rude and unprofessional shouting over me and not prepared to listen would not identify herself to only appointment offered was 06/11/23
