I’ve hired Holwell 4 times now to host my annual Rested Mother weekend retreats, and I love it! Everyone who comes always says how cosy, homely and relaxing it feels from the moment they arrive. Surrounded by open fields, spaciousness and peace are found in abundance. Running a retreat on my own feels so much easier with the support of Imogen and Sam to help light fires and co-ordinate massages to work effectively with my yoga schedule. I highly recommend booking Imogen for intuitive massage and treatments too!

A beautiful farmhouse, in a beautiful location. great thought and time has been taken to renovate this location to make it the perfect location for mindful practice. Beautiful rooms, amazing kitchen. Perfect location for our yoga retreat. Lunari therapies were available on site and provided excellent service. Immaculately clean, comfortable beds.

Holwell was the perfect place for attending a yoga retreat for the weekend. Cosy lounge, wonderful food, beautiful,attentive treatments and so relaxing. The perfect place to get away from it all. I felt really cocooned by the whole weekend!

Such an amazing retreat venue. I had a real mixed bag of weather but Holwell held the weekend perfectly, exploring on the sunny days and cosy living spaces and wood fired sauna when the weather went grey and rainy. The cows noses over the wall outside the sauna were an extra delight. The kitchen is spaceious and easy to use and the guets bedrooms are comfortable and homely. I look forward to returning in 2025.

Another fantastic time. This is our 2nd yoga weekend and it was just as magical place as the first time. From the moment you arrive, you are in a different world, the wonderful tranquil atmosphere that you can feel, to the beautifully furnished rooms and amazing yoga spaces. Holwell was a welcome respite from the Winter weather. Our room was a comfortable king size with ensuite and we enjoyed sitting in the ambient lounge, reading in front of the fire.

Imogen and Sam are wonderful hosts and made our stay feel very special. We loved the wood-fired sauna, yoga and massage offerings and having home cooked meals completed our experience. What a luxury! Thank you both 🙂
