Fantastic place!
We stayed in the Manor for one night & used the spa the next day. Our room was clean & warm & we had a lovely view of the gardens although the shower was disappointing. The staff (especially Adam in the Manor & Claire in the Spa restaurant) were very professional & friendly. The food was excellent. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful place! The scenery and history is outstanding! Such breathtaking views and architecture. Amazing place to stay or to have dinner. Food was exceptional, especially the steak! Could not get over how stunning the grounds were! There was a wedding going on whilst we booked dinner and it was so beautiful to watch! The happy couple could not have picked a more picturesque place! Staff are incredibly professional yet friendly and helpful.

This was a disappointing trip. |Certainly not world class facilities as advertised. |Spa was prob border line average in terms of facilities, however the cold hydro pool and dirty hot tub did not make this even slightly appealing or relaxing. The sauna was so small , just enough for 4 /6 people uncomfortably and steam room was broke when we were there. The main pool looked good but i didn't fancy a swim.|Food was nice, however if you buy an all inclusive package be warned, the portions are small, you can get sides at £6 a pop and drinks are expensive so you do end up spending allot extra to enjoy the included dinner. |The breakfast was pretty poor, hardly no choice even for continental I've had better at far cheaper hotel chains. |The rooms are away from the main house and lights to lead the way were out. I reported twice and they still didn't get fixed. |Mould on the bathroom net. |The whole stay was pretty underwhelming and disappointing. which is a shame as it could be a lovely place. The staff were lovely, just the facilities did not live up to the price charged or advertised.

Food, drink, service, room....everything was excellent, and I wanted to especially mention the breakfast service. |The hostess Claire was just fantastic. It's always a pleasure to meet someone so cheerful, professional, and taking such pride in her work and the hotel, not to mention so full of energy at 7.30 on a Sunday morning! She left us with really positive feelings about our stay, which was already great, but she made it perfect!|

Booked an overnight stay for between Christmas and New Year as a Christmas present for my husband, to be told 12 days before Christmas (booking made mid November) that they had overbooked by a substantial number of people and there was not enough space for the people attending to have a comfortable experience. They wanted alternative dates (which they then couldn't do) so I had no choice but to cancel the booking as the entire point of booking a spa escape is to be able to relax and unwind.
The overall customer service experience was poor throughout booking when trying to upgrade services etc, but they did issue the refund quickly which is the only positive.

Unfortunately will not book with Champneys again due to this poor experience.

We stayed here with a Spa package including dinner, breakfast and lunch, and spa treatments. ||Over all it was very good value but the service in the spa restaurant was very slow and the breakfast choices were limited and were not replenished. ||We stayed in the mews; room was nice but the shower water pressure was terrible and the central heating was very noisy during the night. ||Dinner and drinks in the main house were very cosy but drinks were quite over priced (£15 for standard cocktails) ||For a short spa weekend I would still recommend but service could definitely be improved.

We have recently moved to the area and visited Eastwell Manor for Sunday lunch, expecting a special experience in such a beautiful setting. While the location is undeniably stunning, the lunch itself was underwhelming, and the service left a sour taste in our mouths.||||The food was average at best. The food was lukewarm, and the vegetables were bland and overcooked. For the premium price, we expected more attention to detail and better quality.||||The service, unfortunately, was a real letdown. One waiter was notably rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given the reputation of the venue. However, when we raised our concerns, the manager handled the situation with great professionalism. They were attentive, apologetic, and did their best to make amends, which we appreciated.||||While the manager’s efforts stood out, they couldn’t completely salvage the overall experience. Eastwell Manor has the potential to be great, but our visit fell short in terms of both food and service and is a long way away from our other local visits. We hope this was just an off day, but it’s unlikely we’ll be back anytime soon.

This was meant to be a special day to celebrate retirement with a friend. Lunch was included in the Spa Day (cost £85.00 each) . To be honest we could have saved our money and stayed at the council pool with a later lunch in a restaurant. ||||The facilities are very tired - it is a swimming pool - a dry sauna and a steam room -very small - no special lighting - all very old fashioned. The hot tub and other pool with jets had no instructions but i suppose they saved the tedium of sitting around a large pool , as nothing else was on offer until 3.45 when we could do a stretch and relax class (supplement £3.00 each!) The changing area is cramped with lockers in a tight corridor. Reception staff varied from indifferent to helpful. ||||To be fair the lunch was tasty, but the calm atmosphere was ruined by workmen operating a concrete smasher outside. ||||I felt this day was a waste of money. Not the special day I had planned.
