I've been with the harvey practice for nearly 50 years and I have always found the staff, Drs and nurses very friendly and professional untill this morning when I had to deal with a new receptionist... i was greeted by her peering over the top her glasses scowling at me. She was rude, being very curt with me and other patients. She also appears to have a hearing problem. I found myself having to repeat myself on several occasions because she couldn't hear me. She is obviously not computer literate struggling with booking appointments etc.
Really not the kind of receptionist you need to deal with when you're feeling unwell.
I also just want to say that the new waiting area it awful. Every patient that is waiting can hear every word be spoken to the receptionist. If it wasn't for the receptionist it would be a 5* review.

I emailed this morning with a request for additional items to go onto my repeat prescription. Within 20 minutes this had been done and a prescription is being sent to my pharmacy. Fantastic service and care. Thank you. Speedy and efficient

Imagine, if you will, the worst doctors surgery in NATO. Then, replace the doctors with sponges and the receptionists with half-wits so miserable and unhelpful, you’d have thought Maggie Thatcher was the manager. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, The Harvey Practice.

Can’t imagine what being a ‘confused and vulnerable’ patient has to go through with certain reception staff at this practice. Completely devoid of any empathy whatsoever, some of them. After 30 years, but now out of Poole Town, l would crawl the 4 miles back over broken glass if I could re-register with The Adam Practise.

I Would like to say a big thankyou to Dr Primavesi who has helped me through a nasty kidney infection. She promptly prescribed antibiotics that were effective , reassured me about what was happening and advised me what to look out for . Most importantly she rang to check on me 3 days later which does not happen very often. I have to say I am very impressed with this surgery and am happily feeling much better , it's been a horrible illness and frightening when you are alone.

Stick to Broadstone if you have the choice! I’ve never spoken to such a rude receptionist! After speaking to my friend, I don’t seem to be the only person who thinks this! Maybe spend a day working with the Broadstone ladies, they should be able to teach you some empathy and manners.
