I was fortunate to spend 4 weeks as a final-year medical student at The Allan Practice. From day one, it was clear how much every member of the team, from the healthcare professionals through to the receptionists and administrators, genuinely care about their patients. Patients often shared with me how happy they are with the care they’ve received over the years, praising the team for their expertise and kindness. “You are learning from the best!”. It was inspiring to learn in such a positive and friendly environment.

I had to contact the doctors recently and had an exceptionally positive experience. The secretary (as always) was warm, pleasant and helpful. She arranged for me to come to see a doctor that same day. Considering I came in for an end of surgery appointment, I was surprised to be seen within 10 minutes of arrival, examined and given medication plus thorough self help instructions. The doctor introduced himself as Joshua and I was grateful for his professional but friendly manner. I left the surgery reassured and armed with solutions to the problem!
A job well done and exactly as a doctor’s visit should be!

I have been a patient at the Allen Practice for many years.The service has always been excellent. Booking an appointment is always straight forward, whether using the app or over the phone. Dr Josh Balogun-Lynch, my registered GP is very easy to talk to. He has a professional, caring and friendly nature. Had an appointment today with Dr Josh, he took his time to listen to my concerns did not make me feel rushed and provided adequate solutions. He is a credit to the surgery.

Very Satisfied Customer!
When I contacted my GP Practice, my medical issue was triaged as potentially urgent and a same week appointment was offered by a friendly and supportive Secretary.
GP’s knowledge and care was great, and I was especially pleased with the follow up calls and text messages I received to update me on the hospital referral process.
Very happy with the service from start to finish and would recommend the Allan Practice to others.

We have been with the Allen Practice for 33 years and the team at the practice are incredibly professional, but very caring and kind at the same time. We cannot recommend them enough. Dr Hirani has been our doctor for a number of years and he is an exceptional doctor, thank you for looking after my medical needs with such a caring demeanour. Nurse Carol has also been my nurse for a number of years and she is so kind, patient and knowledgeable. Repeat prescriptions are always on time. My husband has been registered with Dr. Simon Bailey for many years and only has praise and good experiences with him too. Thank you all for looking after my husband, 4 sons and me!

Honestly, I feel blessed to have such wonderful doctors and have never had an issue getting an appointment.
Today I saw Dr Joshua Balogun-Lynch, and within 2 hours, I had collected my prescribed medication, been seen for a walk-in hospital referral and also been text my results from that referral. You hear so many bad things about the NHS, but I can only say positive things about The Allan Practice.. So THANK YOU!
