The Wheelhouse looked after my two black labs until they recently died. So I wanted to take a moment to share my experiences, which I hope will be of value to other people considering using their services.

From the outset, when they were puppies, I have used the Wheelhouse Plan. I have nothing but positive words for this. It is comprehensive, value for money and a huge comfort to know that it is there is a no quibble support when your dog is unwell. I would certainly use it again in an instant.

More importantly, I would like to tell you about the amazing team who offer a huge welcome and amazing support through all stages. Whilst one of my dogs was relatively trouble free to the end, the other was a little more tricky, and I could certainly be described a 'regular'. At all points, in all situations, the team of nurses, vets and reception staff made everything easy. So kind, so thoughtful and always going the extra mile. At the end, Alice even came in to help me on her day off. This is a direct reflection of the quality of their commitment, quality of service and genuine love for what they do.

I could go on, but I will simply close by saying, they are Outstanding.

An absolutely fantastic Vets. Friendly, professional, have very good operating hours and I’m always able to get an appointment quickly. Unlike her Vets I genuinely trust their diagnosis and recommendations. They’re probably not the cheapest Vets around, but I wouldn’t want the cheapest vet looking after my animals. And having said that, they’re also perfectly willing to save you money where possible, for instance by writing you a prescription for medication rather than selling it to you direct which is more expensive. Honesty goes a long way.

They’re thorough in their work and keep you informed on all updates, costs & procedures. A brilliant and reliable vets. All our animals are registered there & with one of our dogs who has had multiple procedures & surgery there, he’s been very well looked after.

Our white cat Daisy has suffered with soars under her chin for years. Our last vet advised us to scratch them off and apply an anti-biotic cream. Molly George advised against this and suggested only using salt water. The thought of Daisy licking the cream and getting it in her stomach was bad. She asked what bowls we feed our cats with and we proudly said stainless steel thinking they were the best. Molly advised changing the bowls both feeding and water to china or plastic. Within 7 days Daisy's chin has all cleared up and we have our snowy white cat back in full health again. For years we have been slowing poisoning her unknowingly.
