Since Capelfield Surgery has introduced a triage system to get an appointment, the service has decreased and I’ve decided to move our family to another doctors. You can’t speak to anyone and an issue actually be resolved - you have to wait for a text response and inevitably have to speak to someone again. I’m on the phone double the amount of time, repeating things multiple times and it’s very frustrating. It’s a real shame to have had such a poor service from our village surgery.

Thank you for the fantastic service.
It is very easy to go on the website to fill in the form. A doctor calls the same day when it suits me. It is very convenient. I have been doing call appointments for four years. I am very satisfied with the service and the doctors' help too.

I rarely need to visit the surgery but whenever I do I have found the service provided to be speedy and excellent. Saw Dr John Emberton today and was very impressed. He put me at ease and was so easy to talk to. I do hope he is a permanent member of the team at Capelfield.

My experience of the surgery has been great. Staff always helpful and doctors are excellent. They even ring you months later reviewing medical files to suggest preventative treatment. I've never had that anywhere else.

Ignore the 'I can't get an appointment in the next 30 minutes' moaners. It's the same everywhere else, doesn't make it a bad surgery.

If I could give no stars I would. Doesn’t matter when you call for who or what the problem is or how urgent you can forget about getting an appointment. This is the worst surgery I’ve dealt with. I even tried to book an appointment 2 months in advance once and that couldn’t be done either. You get told to go online and when you go online now days they have closed that portal as well. So basically your only constant option if you need to see a doctor is to do so privately.

Thursday 8 December called at 2.45 pm, 1st in the queue but no answer by 3.20 pm, assumed no one in Reception to pick up a call ? Claygate Pharmacy has been trying to get my prescription since 24 November, they tried 3 more times since with no success ? A repeat prescription for vital thyroxine since 1975/ and eye drops since 1991 ? Regular annual reviews and all as usual so quite puzzled !

It's an utter nightmare trying to get an appointment, but if you are lucky enough to get one, I must say the doctors are excellent. They never seem to be able to get repeat prescriptions right. My overall experience of this place is poor.
