I’ve been a member of this gym for years. The staff there are all friendly and very helpful. Plenty of equipment and it’s clean there.
I generally go to the gym late mornings/ midday to avoid the busy times, as I don’t really want to wait around to use things.

Was visiting some family and wanted to go swimming with my six month old and her cousins / auntie. Unfortunately on buying a family pass to use the pools, we arrived poolside and the smaller warmer baby pool was totally full. We initially queued up to go in but was told there was a wait. We gave up and went into the big pool, as being in the pool with a baby, 3year old and 5year old was better than waiting and watching the pool! No one at any point told us the pool would be full and unable to be used unless we queued. It took us 25 minutes of being in the colder pool to get in the warmer. Not sure I would return even though the nice lady lifeguard was very apologetic that the front desk lady didn’t tell us we’d have to have waited (as apparently is protocol). Something to bear in mind if you have little ones!

Not adequate gym equipment for gaining muscle and unaffordable per month as a yearly contract. One off sessions for health suite and swimming are cheap. My group booked a group casual swim session for the morning. The pool is clean, not too chlorinated and changing rooms are spacious. It would be helpful if they had a swimming costume dryer machine as most places offer.

The pool had a bogie as I swam past during lane swimming and also had some dirty bits at the bottom of the pool

Great gym. Easy parking. Lots of classes available. Staff very friendly and helpful. 1 2 1 sessions with Lauren are brilliant

Much to my surprise I love my visits to the gym!. The staff are just great and extremely helpful and everywhere
is kept clean. Some of the easy chairs look decrepit and could do with recovering but on the whole it is very good facility to have in Sandown.

I can only comment on reception service, swimming lessons and changing rooms. My son attended swimming lessons here and the team behind reception were amazingly helpful and friendly and had a happy vibe about themselves. My son loves his swimming lessons and I was impressed with the size of groups, number of instructors to each group and also that the younger kids go into a separate, shallow pool. Changing rooms are clean, good size and had warm showers available as well as lockers. Waiting area for parents watching their kids during lessons was large, well lit and has a large glass wall so you get to see your kids in action while staying dry.
